You can go into that selfie mode pretty much everywhere.
Even during combat. You can do the happy or sly face.

The best thing about the new tomb raiders is that every single game they advertise it as “the defining moment of Lara Croft.” This is her third defining moment in less than a decade she probably should be a proper tomb raider by now.
It's because they keep obnoxiously switching dev teams. Which is hilarious since the original idea of rebooting was to make the story more focused to avoid convolution, and instead they ended up just making it convoluted in a different way by constantly changing directions
Kind of like the ULTIMATE universe...

Dan severely underestimates how terrifying (the more dangerous kinds of) eels actually are.
Let's review:
- Backwards-facing teeth. The only way to escape its bite is to have a chunk of flesh torn off.
- A second set of jaws inside the mouth, which extend out and grab stuff from its main jaws. It can hold onto you *and* bite chunks out of you at the same time.
- Ridiculous grip strength. That's kind of a given for most bitey animals though.
- Speed. It can go from a wee hidey hole to flesh-ripping in a blink.
I conclude with this summary from a dive leader: "It's like a set of bolt cutters attached to a ribbon of pure muscle."
Rubbish. They are only dangerous if you suck at Quick Time Events!
(besides, what are you doing anywhere near the water anyway? Everyone knows it's full of spikes!)

These new ones don't do any thing for me. I still prefer Last-Revelation, Chronicles, 2, 3, original, Legend, and Anniversary.
This one, I feel, was more back to the roots than the last two. Definitely better, still not as good as the originals, but in its own right, I enjoyed it. Story and voice acting wasn't much, but gameplay was fun.
I'm liking Dan's discreet way of announcing his new music channel, by singing every other sentence at times. Works well.

It just doesn’t have suspense. Just Cause is fine without suspense because it is batshit crazy but tomb raider tries and create suspense but we all know she’s gonna be fine

Tomb Raider is bad uncharted now. I am disappointed.
I also prefer Uncharted but I think this has a few qualities that are different and some will prefer like the sense of survival with the camping stuff
