'Bantu' Bounces Back: Donkey Foal receives urgent medical care and treatment after dog bite ||

'Bantu,' a month-old Donkey foal, was bitten by a dog, and he also suffered a fractured leg while attempting to run away in escape. He was spotted during Brooke India's routine visit to a Brick Kiln in Bharuch.
Bantu received urgent medical care and treatment from the vet team, who cleaned and dressed the dog bite wound to control the spread of infection. The fracture was then corrected and the leg was immobilized. Medicines were prescribed to reduce pain and inflammation.
The BI team then connected Bantu's owner with a Brooke-trained local health provider for further management under the supervision of the Brooke Vet. We are delighted to report that Bantu has since made a full recovery.
