Mam what about passive phase when the ions reaches to the endodermis..they have to pass through passage cells..I,e through the cytoplasm..did it requires any energy to pass the membrane..??

the dissolved minerals move through root hair mainly three phase but we are there explain 2 phase that 3rd phases trans membran, which move repeatedly back and forth from symplast cell wall crossing the membrane and through the cytoplasm (vascular). i give suggestion not my qustion
