- Transformers Headmasters were introduced in 1987, and Hardhead and Skullcruncher were part of that initial release. In this third-party two-pack from the Unique Toys Palm Collection, it’s tank versus alligator in this core-class-sized battle. Captain Kyle checks these toys out to see if they are worthy of your collection.
The Autobot Hardhead is either a big robot or a small one, depending on what continuity you follow. His head transforms into a little guy… Duros or Hardhead, depending again on continuity. And his large body is a tank. Of sorts. The Decepticon Skullcruncher is a giant alligator or his head, one of the two. It’s confusing. But he is also a Headmaster. These third-party transformers are small in size, but great to scale with your Titan Fortress Maximus or Scorponok. Captain Kyle reviews these figures to see if they could work for you.

I love these little guys, even tho they are a bit dated by now. And yes, UniqueToys did all the headmasters and even the horrorcons Apeface and Snapdragon. Btw, you mentioned they don't have a tech readout? They do, it's hidden under their little chest flaps!! 😁
Where did you get it? I need the hardhead…
