Welcome to the World of Ren. Ren is originally form Wales and ended up in Brighton. You need to check out the band he was a part of busking in Brighton, The Big Push. When in doubt, chose The Big Push live performance where Ren has red suspenders in the thumbnail.
Corner of Ship and North St Brighton.
Knew you'd love this. Pretty sure The Hunger will also scratch your itch
🔥 now you have to see some
of his busking in Brighton with The Big Push, Sam Tompkins, and Chinchilla.
You might learn the real significance of the Swanton Bomb to Ren further down the line.
Also bitter sweet symphony, Genesis, murder, animal flow and power were filmed in Brighton.
Losing It is a fun one! Lots of Brighton in his videos!!! I see you have done some Prof - Ren has a collab with him! Pain Salesman
Oh he is going to LOVE that feature!
I believe there's a mural of Ren in your town.
Is there?? Does anyone know where??
@@BaffleTon the Edinburgh Rd wall of Rhythm & Bikes. You can see it on google maps street view.
@BaffleT Ren has a channel called Ren Makes Stuff. One of the videos there shows it (was w/in the last yr).
Edinburough road. Do not know the cross street.
There was one of the whole band, The Big Push too just off North street, but I dont know if it is still there. @@BaffleT

I hope you have a good encyclopedia and a decent library…
Now you need to do "Back on 74/Message in a Bottle (retake)". It's yet ANOTHER side of Ren.
Baffle, you are from Brighton! 'Back on 74/Message In a Bottle Retake' was performed in Bar Valentino in Brighton! Check it out.
Love this retake so much
@@im2yz4u17And go to the bar if you haven't been.
Very good point about everyone having different favorite Ren songs. With almost every song sounding different he attracts people from all walks of life
If you have ever seen busking out on the streets of Brighton, you may have seen Ren alone or with many of his different friends like, Sam Tompkins,
Chinchilla, or with the band he was in called The Big Push. Throughout your Ren journey you will see places in Ren's videos you will recognise.
You wanted rapping, you got rapping.
You have watch The Hunger! Let’s go!
He’s been offfrom busking in Brighton since the end of 2022, before he went to Canada in early 2023 for medical treatment. He was super active from around 2016-22, from after the stem cell treatment. Before that, he had been there from time time time, before the illness or during times when it was less terrible. At its worst he went back home to live with family. As you do.
Honestly my favorite changes several times a day
cuz they are all excellent
At the moment 'Castles made of Sand' is my favourite, but there's so many good songs to choose from.
@ had a castles made of sand day on Monday, yesterday was Fred again, today has been a mixed day for favorites 🤣
I love Castles made of Sand 🔥🔥🔥
I can't wait for you to hear The Hunger. It's an older one of Ren's but I think it's fantastic! 🫶😊
Subscribed. From on ADHDer to another, I loved that you caught on to that really quickly in your Illest reaction. The world is rarely in sync for us, so it's nice when it suddenly is. Enjoy your Ren journey ❤
Ren has lots of styles.

And there are many, many more but this is a start.
He is using one of those selfie sticks that disappears when recorded. He is holding it in his hand with the camera facing him about face level in the bathroom. That gives it that floating/standing in the toilet look. He uses it on the rooftop scene too.
Renegade here to support your channel! We come out of the woodwork for great Ren reactors. As Ren says, a rising tide lifts all ships.
Loving your energy and witty attitude! There's so much more, and many filmed in Brighton: Genesis, Murderer, The Hunger, and so much more. For boom bap, check out his Nas Halftime retake. Then there's Loco, Seven Sins, Wicked Ways, and Down on the Beat to tickle your ADHD fancy. Plus, What You Want for more goofiness and a nod to old school. His recent drops are intense, including Slaughterhouse and Money Ties (Kujo Beatdown requires backstory for context). After that, singing Ren is STELLAR!!! Looking forward to more Ren reactions from Washington state, USA. ❤
I’ve noted all of these down! Can’t wait to watch all of them
You're going to love The Hunger!
Born and raised in Wales, but Ren has since made Brighton his home base - with some breaks away due to his health issues. Imagine that you might have passed him on the street and didn’t even know you were close to a genius? 😂
Anyway this is just Ren having fun on a track he loves (all retakes are basically him putting his own spin on songs in one way or another). With everything he has been and is still going through, it’s just lovely to see he hasn’t lost his sense of humour ❤ And yes, he is full ADHD with influences, genres, productions, and just everything music really 😂 He has hyper fixated the shit out of all things music to become a superhuman 🦸♂️ 😂
He’s from Whales but Brighton is his home. He’s a Brighton busker! The Big Push was his band that got super popular then had to break up so he could get treatment in Canada ❤
Eeeee!! I was so excited to see another upload from you!! Definitely one of my fave reactors, even though I've seen hundreds, maybe thousands of Ren reactions!! The past two years of my life have been MAGICAL because of Ren!!! Let's goooooo!!!
💜💜💜
Sir, you are shooting up the charts of my fave reactors. It was fun!
Thank you so much 🙏🏻 I appreciate that!
Yet another great reaction I can't wait till you watch The Hunger I think you will like it a lot I'll be watching and shout out to all the other renegades out here spreading the love and especially those over 50 finding Ren and hip Hop for me finding it again❤
Exactly 50 here! The last 2 years of Ren have been some of the best of my life, even though I've been bedridden for the past 7! It's the Ren effect!! Not only renewed my love of music, he renewed my love of life!! 💜
@ZephyrsLoki I understand that completely slowly loosing my ability to walk has been horrific for me and I learned to tune out all feeling just not to get threw the day for my disabled daughter I watch Ren to feel and to allow myself to grieve for my own physical losses this music is helping me heal I wish you and everyone a beautiful day and personally prosperous week
If you want to see more of Ren around Brighton, check out "The Tales of Jenny and Screech" (a long one, three songs in one video), Genesis, Murderer, or watch him busking on the streets with his band The Big Push or his friends Sam Tompkins, Liv Sangster, Ruby J., or Chinchilla. You'll recognize a lot of the scenery.
Ren is a SPHERICAL GENIUS OF MUSIC
Meaning, equally a genius in every direction.
It is unfathomable how far it goes my friend
You’re from Brighton and half-Welsh? Tidy! Ren’s from the isle of Anglesey, North-West Wales originally, he speaks Welsh, I think he mentioned in an interview that his dad’s from Manchester originally but lives in the South-West of England now, and as others have mentioned, Ren went to college in Bath for a while too. He eventually ended up in the arts & culture mecca that is your hometown, Brighton, and has settled there. I’m Welsh and when you said something like ‘he’s one of me’ I knew exactly how you felt, just that with me it’s his Welsh roots that make me feel this, of course. But like Ren, I also left Wales for a long time to live in an artsy city where I could meet my flock and do music and theatre etc, so I relate to that part of him too (although for chronic health reasons, I’m back in my homeland of Wales now, which is not a bad thing now my clubbing and gigging days are behind me!).
People say he doesn’t sound Welsh, and they’re right. But I’ve seen him being interviewed in Welsh for S4C, and there’s a video clip of him returning to Angelsey to present a cheque to the RNLI there, and he meets up with his old mates at the Freckled Angel cafe in Menai Bridge, and he’s speaking English with them with this thickest of Angelsey accents which is so distinct from the typical Gavin & Stacey Welsh accents that most people tend to think of when they mimic the Welsh accent! I’d been so used to hearing Ren speak with this almost unplaceable English accent (a bit Northern, a bit Southerm, sometimes posh, sometimes brash) that this thick Angelsey accent that came out of him when he was with his Welsh mates came as a real surprise even to me, but it was a good shock - like - ah, he really is one of us (or one of them - I’m from Mid-Wales where the accent is softer).
God, I’m starting to sound like Kendrick.
One thing I do like about Ren though is that he respects and pays plenty homages to his roots while absolutely loving Brighton and Britain in general, and he stays away from any deep discussion about his personal cultural/national identity ideologies/politics, which are known to be devisive, and defo not his bag.
Ren is one of all of us, really, no matter where any of us are from. He’s one of the most relatable artists out there, imo.
(But it is cool to recognise the locations he films his videos, no doubt!)
Great reaction. Dance music and rapping - yes please! ❤
I am 64 years old and never liked rap until I found Ren. Everybody gets surprised by the talent of this guy. Anyway thank you great job keep on keeping on. God bless you and peace be with you always from Robert in Canada.
❤Loved it.! You're really good. I promise you, not one reactor has gotten all the actual bars on a first listen. I watch a lot of reactions, my guilty pleasure. Each good bar breakdown reactor, my favorite type, misses some. 😊Ren was in the band The Big Push from 2017-2022. They were known as one of the most popular rock bands in Brighton. They would shut down streets. Maybe you've heard of them. 🥰
Welcome to the Reniverse. Plenty to see & hear here!
❤️🌊⛵
'Turn on the Red light, please Roxanne" is also referencing the song "Roxanne" by The Police. From 1979. He is a big fan of Sting and reggae.
Another enjoyable reaction. I left this identical comment on your "Hi Ren" reaction, but in case you don't go and read comments to older reactions, here is a song list again. “Hi Ren” is the song that put Ren on everyone's radar in December 2022. However, Ren's earliest recordings on RUclips are from his time in a band called “Trick The Fox,” consisting of Ren and his buddies Charlie and Tommy. Unfortunately, the band performed only briefly due to Ren's onset of health issues. They are very talented. A fun clip to watch is “The Mash-Up.”
Ren's trilogy “The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet” has been likened to a Shakespearean tragedy and is a prime example of his genius; it is a master's class in storytelling and also showcases his guitar skills. The three acts are haunting, and the conclusion will catch you off guard. The trilogy needs to be watched in the order given, as this is the flow of the storyline and is best watched as a whole rather than piecemeal.
Ren's Hip Hop/Rap style songs are worth checking out if you enjoy this genre; alas, sexual innuendos are pervasive in hip-hop and rap, and Ren makes such references in several of his songs. Check out “The Hunger,” “Genesis,” “What You Want,” “Losing It (FISHER rap retake),” “Right Here, Right Now (Fatboy Slim one shot retake),” “Life is Funny,” “Love Music (Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4),” “Crucify Your Culture,” “Power,” “Hold On,” his recent release, “Down On The Beat (feat. Viktus),” “Masochist,” his song “Halftime (Nas Retake),” and “Troubles,” just to name a few.
Ren's collaborations with Chinchilla (“Chalk Outlines,” “How to Be Me,” “Sexual Healing,” “One Dance/Drunk in Love”) are beautiful and showcase his singing voice. His live music videos are especially impressive. Ren's personal reflections are threaded through many of his songs; “Insomnia,” “Depression,” “Diazepam,” “Penitence,” “Dear God,” “Heretic,” “Dominos,” his “Freckled Angels” album, in particular his song “Fire,” just to name a few, all deserve a listen. His song “Money Game” (Part I, II & III) is another recommendation, although it is less of a personal song than it is an indictment of greed and the resulting injustices in this world. Ren just released “Money Game Part III,” and in my opinion, it is his best work to date.
Ren's performances with Sam Tompkins (“Blind Eyed,” “Earned It /Man's World / Falling,” “Walking on the Moon/No Diggity,” “Feeling Good/Trouble So High/Masterblaster (Jammin'),” “Latch,” “Wild Thoughts/Crazy in love (Live Session),” “Same Old Situation (Live, feat. Ren),” “Improvising Around Stevie Wonder,” “, Live in the Streets of Brighton, UK,” “What Went Wrong” Part I&II) are definitely a must. Also, his collaborations with Eden Nash (“Humble,” “Ocean”), Bibi (“Crutch,” “Ahiahiaoha”), Molly McKinna (“Penitence”), Orlean (“Jessica”), his former bandmate Romain Axisa (“French Song”), are all great. Last but not least, Ren's busking sessions with Liv Sangster are awesome. I recently discovered that Ren also recorded a cover of “Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Cover),” which is simply beautiful.
“The Big Push” (Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, Romain Axisa, and Glen Chambers) busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are amazing and well worth checking out. All but the drummer sing lead vocals at times. They are each incredibly gifted artists. Their covers of “I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop,” “Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard,” “War Pigs,” “Roadhouse Blues,” “My Generation,” “Paint It Black,” “An Englishman in New York,” “Bongo Bong” are excellent. On “These Boots Are Made For Walking'/Satisfaction/Everybody,” “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim Cover), and “What Kind Of Woman Is This,” all three take a turn singing. The songs “Oh My Woman,” “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady,” “It's Alright,” “Dignity,” “Watch Out,” and so many others are equally impressive.
In 2023, Ren released “Sick Boi,” “Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve retake),” which is another masterful work, “Illest Of Our Time,” and “Animal Flow,” which is out in two versions, a full-production music video, and a live, one-take acoustic version. Ren's release, “Su!cIde,” is a sad, haunting, gut-wrenching tribute to Ren's friend Joe who took his own life. Ren’s follow-up to “Su!cIde,” “For Joe,” is also sad and emotional, but strangely enough, it offers a sense of closure. Ren also premiered the official music video of his song “Murderer,” and followed it up with a newly recorded acoustic live version that is phenomenal and my favorite of the two versions. His releases, “Love Music Part 4,” “Masochist,” “Lost All Faith,” are from his album, “Sick Boi,” which came out on October 13th, 2023; it made it to #1 on the UK Album Charts.
Ren also released “Back on 74/Message in a Bottle (Live Retake),” “Fred Again Mashup,” as well as a number of Live acoustic versions of previously released songs, and “Bittersweet Symphony (Live)” premiered August 26, 2024. Ren’s release, “Kujo Beatdown” is worth watching, but it is important that you watch Ren’s video preceding the release, where he goes into great detail as to what let up to the making of the song. Ren’s release, “Money Ties,” is another amazing work, as is his latest work, “Slaughter House”. I could list more, but this comment will likely get blocked by YT due to its length.
Everything I need to know in one spot. You legend! Noted! thank you for taking time to comment this. I appreciate it
You live in Brighton and have never witnessed REN busking…bummer! He’s still around there, although off to Mexico any day for more treatment. Enjoy his discography 😊
New UK subscriber for your Ren journey. He says he changes the flows so much as he gets bored easily, maybe due to his ADHD.
He was in music school in Bath for a bit, his illness f***ed up a lot of his plans
Hahaha was hoping you would watch this one next so you would scratch that itch before you continue down the Ren Rabbit hole ! Welcome to a fantastic journey 💚🇨🇦
GREAT choice.
I knew right away, you would LOVE it
Awesome reaction, dude.
Can't wait to see where you go next.
❤😁❤
Lol. Enjoyed watching this with you. I don't think I have seen anyone else who appreciates Ren's ADHD so much 😉
Kito's entire shtick with Ren revolves around their shared ADHD. It's how we even hooked him 😂
If you want pure unadulterated hip hop you need Wicked Ways in your life! The Hunger is another rap you might enjoy. He's got so many gems... You're just scratching the surface.
Subbed for more Ren 👍
Actually from Walws but as a young adult moved to Brighton where he really got going on his music.
I’m half welsh too hahaha
I am loving your reactions and insight! Jealous you’re from Brighton! You should do short videos of his locations if you recognize it! You’ll love Bittersweet Symphony (ode to Brighton) do MV first, then live… I’d love shorts of locations for those of us across the ocean…
This would be cool! Little tour of film spots for shorts. Noted :)
This was a great reaction! And this is unironically one of my favourite Ren tracks, even though like you said there are so many and like everything he's done is good lol.
For more... Money Ties for some conscious rap. Back on '74 for vocal chops. The Hunger for some rap rap. Murderer for a banger track. Bitter Sweet Symphony (2024) and Nas Halftime for incredible retakes. Slaughter House is his newest. But Castles Made of Sand might be my all time favourite, although there is no video.
Seven sins..... Seven sins...... Seven sins..... Seven sins 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Definitely "The Hunger". "Troubles" will tell you about his story condensed, what he went through.
Hey BT!
This is one of many intensely, almost, pure-rap songs that Ren does. It is called a 'retake'. A retake is a cover of a song that has several elements changed yet carries the spirit of the original. Maybe the lyrics are changed or the music has been changed, but the original is always present.
This song is a cover of 'Losing It' by the EDM producer Fisher, an Australian EDM beats producer, mixer, DJ, and musician. Losing It was released originally in 2018 and was a charting EDM song in Australia, US, and UK.
While most of the beat you hear is the same as the original song, Ren, as always, has modified it to meet his intention, including additional beats, sound samples, and arrangement of his own.
The original song does not have any lyrics or singing except a sound sample of a female artist as background portions of the song, so the lyrics are entirely Ren's.
This song is chock full of references and inferences across a spectrum of history and media.
The very first line implies the medieval fairy tale of the Wolf and the Piglets.
"Sounds hardcore so raw, no rubber; Milk that, Milk that, Milk that udder" is a naughty bar, for sure.
"Ooh, truly Keizer chief, ruby, ruby" references a famous South African football (soccer) club called the Keizer Chiefs, an independent Egyptian street artist called Keizer who was famous for his work after the 2011 Arab Spring Egyptian Revolution, and Kaiser, a reference to Dutch, German, and Austrian rulers, usually emperors.
"I'm Scooby Doo, ghost a groupie; Spooky, poltergeist raps are booky", obviously references Scooby Doo and their escapades from the show. Booky is a British slang term that means a person acting strange, weird, or untrustworthy.
"Fuji; snap a pic off the booty" is a reference to Fujifilm, a famous Japanese photography and multimedia corporation that has near exclusive rights to those industries in Japan.
"And I'm a demon, Morgan Freeman when I'm flipping a flow" Reference to Morgan Freeman's role as God in the 2003 film 'Bruce Almighty' with Jim Carrey.
"I've got that Shawshank sugar" referencing the 1994 "The Shawshank Redemption" film based on the Stephen King novel of the same name.
"Shake it, rag and the bone, man" is a direct respectful nod to Rag'N'Bone Man, a soul and blues vocalist from England known for his exceptional deep vibrato and baritone voice.
"Damn! Jean-Claude Van-Damme" is a reference to Jean-Claude van Damme, a famous action star.
"Put on the red light, please, Roxanne" is a direct reference to the Police's 1978 song "Roxanne" and specifically to the very first line of the song, "Roxanne, You don't have to put on the red light"
"I'm the king of the bongo, the Bongo won't" is a direct reference to the song 'Bongo Bong' and 'King of Bongo' by Manu Chao which Ren and his band, The Big Push, did an awesome cover of.
"Swanton bomb" is a direct reference to a famous move by Jeff Hardy, a WWE wrestler.
"I'm a blood-sucking parasite; I'm a digital vampire; terror-bite" is a double entendre: a terrifying attack by a monstrous creature and terabyte, a specific size of digital data known as bytes that makes up the basis for all computational electrical data.
"Tarantino flow, no lullaby" is calling out Quentin Tarantino, a famous director known for his dialogue heavy and philosophical films, plus lots of gory action and intensely sensitive 'assaults' on a broad range of topics that often don't get much attention in the media.
The next few lines are just bars about Tom Cruise and his filmography.
"I'm an agent undercover, Who's that Mr lover lover?" is a reference to Shaggy's Boombastic song released in 1995.
I could honestly keep going, but I think you get the idea that is an extremely layered song, despite being a retake.
This was filmed on location throughout several places in Brighton, England.
Samuel Perry-Falvey is the co-director, cameraman, DP, gaffer, and his only other teammate on this particular track. They recorded this over a couple of days, mostly in the afternoon.
If you enjoyed this, I recommend Murderer, Genesis, The Hunger, Nas Halftime Retake, Seven Sins, Wicked Ways, Castles Made of Sand, Animal Flow, and Illest of Our Time.
I'm excited to see where you go from here!
As always, much peace and love to you darling. ^^
I would like to add quick from my normal breakdown: Ren did put the camera mount in the loo. He did. Ren don't give a fuck. Angles are king.
It's highly unusual that you started with Illest of Our Time since that actually gets LESS traction than his other rap tracks. Applause for that. I have yet to prepare a breakdown for that song, but I am working on it so stay tuned!
Also, I would like to add that Slaughterhouse, his LATEST track as the Title Song for his upcoming new album called Slaughter House, is quite literally one of the most layered tracks he's ever made. It's SO complex that I had to literally create an ENTIRE Google Doc just to contain it all. It's over 3 pages long and contains dozens of references, inferences, and the double/triple/quadruple entendres.
Since you are such a rap fan, I really recommend the Hunger, Genesis, Nas Halftime Retake, and Castles Made of Sand more than the others I already recommended. You will REALLY appreciate those tracks.
If you want more of his storytelling with a mixture of folk, medieval folk, rap, and singing, I recommend the Tales of Jenny & Screech (Official Music Video). It is Shakespeare in the modern age and you will not be disappointed.
EDIT: Real quick, just remembered to add: Ren's been busking on the streets of Brighton for nearly 20 years. The fact that you don't remember this is kinda shocking. He's busked quite frequently at the Upside Down House, Wetherspoon on Bond Street, Wahaca on New Road, and Theatre Royal on New Road. He had a band called The Big Push and they busked for nearly a decade on those particular streets... plus Ren's solo busking... again, kinda shocking. However, I think once you listen to The Big Push, your brain might kick in and remind you because they attracted HUGE crowds almost immediately. They were considered a Brighton staple for as long as they were together.
@@LiannaBabeliThey also played The Dome and did a concert near the pier on the seafront
@ Thank you! Yes they did but I was letting him know their most common places to busk. There is plenty I didn’t mention.
Just to put another for your brain to process, watch/listen to this: "The Big Push - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop". The Big Push is a band he was in a few (more) years back while busking in Brighton. They had some great original songs too....
Subbed for more Ren journey. Like the reactions to the last 2 as well! Nice work
You're a Renegade now!! :D great reaction!!
Loved that vibe from you bruv! ✌🏽❤️
"Everything but the cameraman." Actually, he filmed most of this himself.
Knew this one would fit JUST RIGHT! For you…. Just knew you’d love this one.. it’s such fun! He is BARS UPON BARS… not such a frivolous fun feel but just as HARD BAR HITTING… the HUNGER was done because someone foolishly asked, “Yeah, but can he rap?” I’ll mention this story every time when I find a reactor who loves rap in general and bars….. you gotta do The Hunger…. You will LOVE IT! He does do everything, but he has bought a beat or two, but more often not he is at the helm of. EVERYTHING… so when he does “covers” he calls them “retakes” because he does more than just sing a version, he will add lyrics, re-arrangements, mash up songs…. His “retakes” become something almost entirely new, but you do now the “covers”.
The Hunger is definitely coming up on the list soon
There is so much to discover from Ren for you....enjoy the wild ride.
"Masochist" is one that i think you would like. Not many reactors react to it...hope you react to that one...😁😁
'Losing It' is certainly a fan favorite for Renegades, but try 'Seven Sins' for an amazing underlying beat and hard lyrics. If you want just beautiful lyrics then try 'Suicide' by Ren; but make sure you have a box of tissues nearby. Old Beastie Boys vibe go for 'What You Want', it is pure genius. 'Crucify Your Culture' is political screed and awesome. So much more, Baffle.
Noted!!
Great reaction! You'd probably really like Down on the Beat featuring Viktus too!
REN is quite cheeky with his naughty lyrics.
❤❤❤ Fun One ❤❤❤
😂 Hate to tell you but Ren filmed most of this video All By Himself, and got his cameraman for a few of the other needed shots.
So he does camera work too. 😉
Ren doesn't really have a weak song, lol.
More, it depends on your mood - he has something for everyone!
"Put on The Red light." Is also a lyric in the Police song Roxanne. Also, a double because he is naming movies and Roxanne was a movie with Steve Martin in it. ;)
Ren is an expert lyracist.
Ren has too many strong songs for everyone to have the same favorite, or really for us to have any favorite! So far you've listened to his 2022-2023 stuff, but nothing from his latest album (2023) or his upcoming album (2025.) Then again, you also haven't checked out any of his older stuff, which is well worth checking out, and you'll also need to get into The Big Push, and Ren with friends (Chinchilla, Eden Nash.....) Subbed for MORE REN!
Knew you'd like this. One of my favorites too. The Hunger another great one but there are MANY! Ren is so versatile, you must get the mix of flavors. Try Back on 74/Message in a Bottle and Ren with his old band The Big Push (GREAT band), I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop.
On this one he was the cameraman too. So said his normal cameraman Sam.
Oh. My. Gosh. I’m dyin over here 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Ren is the master of naughty bar.
Had a feeling you would love it, 🔥🔥 reaction. Video of Rens Right here, right now track was shot in Brighton I think. Another fun banger. Am really enjoying your full plunge in to Rendome. You are mad af, keep it up!
I see you have reacted to POF. There is a collab with POF and REN called salesman is wicked 👌
There’s no way!
@ enjoy it is 🔥
Wow, so you're from Brighton! While Ren is from Wales, he talks as if Brighton is true home. You'll see a lot of Brighton in his videos. Also, check out his posts on his channel. It seems he's going to be doing something involving health care in Brighton.
12:22 According to his frequent collaborator, cinematographer Samuel Perry-Falvey, Ren did the majority of the camera work in this video, and he edited it as well.
Ren always posts his lyrics in the comments
Brighton! Now you have to check out the busking band The Big Push. Thumbnails with Ren in red suspenders are top shelf.
You really should go ahead and start a Ren playlist. New music is on its way. The HUNGER is also a banger.
Kito Akashi (reactor and rapper/singer) calls Ren ADHD proof music bc of the production and beat switches. 😂
excellent
thank you
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Check out his nas retake
Straight prodigy❤❤❤❤. If you can even believe it he is an amazing human being❤❤❤❤ listen to his remix of Fed Again…. One of my favorites ❤❤
Still lives in Brighton. lol. Might see him busking as he is improving health wise
Put on the red light please Roxanne. Referring to The Police and Sting, one of Ren's favourite bands/singer/songwriters.
Awesome! For you, do The Hunger next. Then Jenny and Screech (13 minute video). Thats it
Great Reaction! Glad you got to this one early, because I could tell it got you over the top of REN's talent. Some respond and relate to his art...some respond to his messages...some respond to his talent, singing, guitar and piano, some respond to his rapping.....the point is there is something for EVERYONE..literally. Movie makers, therapists, rappers, musicians, ...they all have reacted to REN. I highly recommend you listen to Murderer for bars..and definitely the NAS - Halftime Retake here: ruclips.net/video/e3_KfTO7dfw/видео.html
Actually, he was the cameraman for about 50% of this one
REN can get a little dirty😂😂😂
🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜
LOL "He does everything but be the cameraman" ...funny you say that on *this* video because for this one he actually did shoot most of it himself with the GoPro 😂
Still sticking with Slaughter House as my rec.
People make it sound like he was pretty well known as a busker in Brighton. He was in Brighton for a bit around 2013, then moved back again in '16/17 and still calls it his home now. Well, literally he is there now, but will have to leave again sometime this month... will maintain his flat, though. His accent is a mishmash of Welsh (he grew up in Anglesey), Brighton and whatever his dad's is, so that's probably what threw you. Anyway, between him solo, him with Sam Tompkins and him with The Big Push he always drew huge crowds busking. He and Sam started going viral in 2017 and The Big Push were taking off just before the lockdowns started. They were shutting down high streets when they performed. For their final performance together in 2022 (because Ren had to leave the country for treatment) they sold out the Brighton Dome. Sad for you that you missed the whole experience! 😅
Oh! There's still a mural of him in Brighton somewhere... a fan took a photo in front of it a couple days ago so it definitely still exists.
Funny story, I can’t hear subtle welsh because my dad is welsh hahaha so I have been desensitised to 2/3 of his accent blends hahaha
@@BaffleTMaybe try Seven Sins next. Likely to be your vibe, plus it starts in Welsh
I think you'll especially like Loco, and the Love Music series, they're both fun and upbeat. Those have my votes for NEXT UP.
Hunger and Animal Flow are both ones you would enjoy.
Enjoy the ride!!
You only have another 260 Songs to react to in Ren's catalogue 🤣
🔥🔥🔥
❤❤
❤️
Check out Seven Sins. Wicked Ways. Castles Made of Sand. Slaughter House. Well, there's a lot if you want rap with lyricism, cadence and flow switches.
Enjoy.
Add Power and Genesis to your list! ❤
Murderer and The Hunger next Enjoy the ride!
7:56 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
It’s gonna take quite a while for you to see how far it goes.
Another awesome reaction, hard to believe that you never heard of Ren, you being from Brighton. He drew huge crowds busking in Brighton with the Big Push and also with Sam Tompkins and Chinchilla. All additional rabbit holes for you to go down. Lots of Ren's videos are showing off Brighton. If you enjoy EDM you must know Fred Again. If so you may enjoy the mashup that Ren does of 5 Fred Again tracks.

If you like this, you'll like "Hunger" too.
Next: Hunger
Wait until you hear 'The Hunger' lol. That would be my next choice if you want to hear some serious rapping skills. Not to mention the flow changes....
Welcome to the ren-ergades. You should react to this it's Ren and Sam Tompkins busking in Brighton.
