Personal Project Exhibition "Udaan" - The Personal Project Exhibition "Udaan" kicked off on February 2, 2024, featuring 93 innovative projects by MYP 5 students. Highlights included a model rocket launch, creative resin art fundraising, music production, and sustainable fashion initiatives. The students' creativity and dedication were inspiring, reflecting their journey of self-discovery and ambition.
SFA Championship - PWS athletes excelled at the SFA Championship, securing 1st Runner-up overall. Notable achievements included Kaira Jain and Shivika Anand from DP 1 dominating in athletics, Naavya Rao from MYP 5 making waves in swimming, and the U-18 girls' basketball team clinching 1st place. Additionally, the PWS boys U-18 basketball team secured 3rd place. Angel Manchanda from DP 1 won silver in badminton, and Arjun Sarkar along with Kabir Arora from MYP 5 brought home bronze in squash, showcasing the depth of sporting talent.
Athletic Meet - The annual senior school athletic meet featured not just competitions but also dance, gymnastics, and equestrian shows. Graced by principals from all three programs (PYP, MYP, and DP), the event celebrated exceptional sportsmanship. Stars like Kaira Jain and Uday Rathore were named best athletes, demonstrating excellence across various categories.
Interhouse Marathon - Organized by the Wellbeing team in collaboration with the PE department on February 13, the Interhouse Marathon highlighted the school's commitment to wellness and community service, promoting cancer awareness and ADHD support. Earth house claimed the top position with 2200 points, followed by Water, Air, and Fire. Participants like Shivika Anand, Asin Bansal, Aparna Kumar, Shresth Jain, Ojas Sethi, and Rudra Goel showcased remarkable spirit and athleticism, contributing to important causes while displaying their competitive edge.
FIBA - Senior school students had an unforgettable experience at the FIBA Asia 2025 Qualifier on February 26. They witnessed an epic showdown between India and Iran at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Delhi. Pathways students interacted with Pranav Prince, the top scorer for Team India, and Mr. Aadhav Arjun, the President of the Indian Basketball Association. This unique opportunity allowed them to connect with the world of professional basketball.
Voice 2024 - On February 23, PWS launched the second season of "The Voice," a solo vocal music competition in the school auditorium. Students across different grades showcased their vocal skills, leaving everyone in awe of their talent. Niharika Menon, Kiana Khante, and Sakshi Bidani won top honors. The panel of judges included Mr. Keith Terrett (HoD) Performing Arts, PSG Gurgaon, and Mr. Geoffrey Williams (HoD) Music, PWS, Gurgaon. The event illuminated the school's musical talents, marking another successful chapter in PWS's celebration of the arts.
