I'll do that undercover show with y'all! I already have a back story - Amy is my sister in law and Dr. Martin is her husband, and I will be staying with them because Amy works from home and she will be my caretaker while I need one, since my husband travels for work. Boom. When do we start?
Can I get labs from my primary as part as a preventative care appointment? So that maybe my insurance covers some of the labs? I have hypothyroidism. I get a new test every year and my insurance does cover that one. I'm going for a consult for possible lipo maybe Renuvion in my area in October, just trying to research some before I go.
Hi Monica, thanks for watching! It is possible that your labs may be covered if they are ordered and performed by your primary care physician. Make sure you let your surgeon know you would like to go that route and ask for a list of tests he/she requires prior to surgery. Many surgeons do not require pre-operative labs for awake in-office procedures especially if a PCP or internist closely follows you.
Not true on first asst. That's actually a surgical tech with another cert for first asst. I'm a surgical tech and I was going to sign up for it im in GA but at that time I was in AL. That's our next level up
Thanks for listening! That's awesome that your state allows techs to apply for CSFA programs! All of our CSFA's are nurses or physicians assistants but it's great to know that anyone with OR experience can apply!
