The Stupidest Video Ever

- These folks wanted me to figure out why they couldn't get propane to any of the appliances inside their motorhome. They also have some electrical problems that they want me to troubleshoot for them. I lost some of the original audio on this video, which makes this one of the stupidest videos that I have ever put up on my channel.

Really glad that you decided to move forward and do the voiceover for this one... shows another setup that we don't normally see. I really appreciate you and your work!!!
Thanks Joe.
Not a stupid video. That’s real life detective work right there. 👍
I had to name the video something.....
Glad you did not skip this video! I get a lot of jobs similar to that. People just want their camper safe with most things working, Please keep up the good work!
Charles
Frye RV Repair
Thank you Charles. Several early commentators don’t understand what we do out here in the real world.
I can see two major issues. 1. Don't buy an RV with appliances on a slide. 2. Don't buy an RV. Great job good explaining. Don
I couldn't have said it better....ha ha
Hillbilly, I like the voice over. Do more. What I learned was, 1- keep looking 2- changes to existing system may be better better remedy 3- sometimes things are unfigureoutable 4- when running into walls, go work on something else and then comeback with a different hammer. Thanks for sharing.
Very encouraging words. Thanks
Good resolution and work around. Glad you published the video with voice over. It was clear and concise ! Thanks
Thanks
Since this is an unusual kind of failure, I think it's especially valuable. Thanks for salvaging this vid.
I appreciate that.
Good job, I had an old Winnebago that had multiple systems boogered up generator brushes, alternator disconnected while running jumper wires here and there lucky it was a simpler model and time(1972) model as I was a greenhorn at it. And learned how people create multiple problems that can almost burn something down!
I hate working on something that a Jack leg has been working on.
Great video because that’s real world. These coaches could just about have anything when it comes to repairs. Sometimes you just need to be a genius to find the problem.
Thanks. This one was definitely real world.
Hello from the quiet sunny Ozarks Kenny! Another video of value. hope your welll and enjoying your day..Faulty parts and shotty workmanship rewards you with valuable experience in salvaging these failures! Tight lines and bent poles!
I would rather have good parts and quality workmanship and less experience.
i agree!@@hillbillyrv
Good recovery on the video Kenny! Thanks!
Thanks
I hate jobs like that but you are "dah-man!" Way to hang in there and make the customer happy.
It was a tuffy for sure.
That was a tuff one Kenny... Head scratcher for sure!
Totally
Wow brutal at least you got things working for them
I did, but it wasn’t fun.
Im glad you posted the video. This was a great learning video.
Thanks Hugo.
This is the best video of yours that I have ever seen. Make them all like this. 😂
I hope I don't have more like this.
Good job chasing those squawks. Evidence that motorhome manufacturers/dealers don't have much quality control. Just wipe the air cleaner and ship it, so they say.
Thanks
Used up a few brain cells on that one Kenny , always frustrating when you have to try to figure out what someone else has done 👍👍🇨🇦✌️🇨🇦✌️🔧🔧
I know and I don't have any to spare.
You tried using common sense, that's where it all went wrong. As an auto mechanic, the worst thing a customer could tell me is " I tried to fix it myself ".
Thanks Scott
Funny Video for us to watch, sounded like it was not fun for you. I have tracked down shorts in an RV, enough to make you pull your hair out. Thanks for the Videos, Kenny.
Not fun at all.
That was a wild one
Defiantly
Important info, vlog worked for me. Thanks Kenny
Thanks
Incredible detective work! Hung chow pow!😂😂
Right back at you. 😃
Great Job and well looking after your customers pocket book ! Why spend tons of money when you can turn the valve your self ?
Thanks Jeff
Nice job, sometimes you have to scratch your head.
Yes I do.
Good thing you changed gears, 😂😂😂😂
😀
Dang wish I could speak Japanese because I know what you said was worth knowing. Lol. No problem with voice over.
I am sure the original was better than the voiceover.
Great job Kenny
Thanks
6:55 - Most of the voltage going through the coil, so the meter will show low voltage. My early guess is that it is grounded out. On the truck you had it in your hand. no chaise ground.
That sounds plausible.
Good video showing what problems a RV tech encounters. So what did you say in japanese?
I don't know.....I don't speak Japanese. 🤣
Sounded like you said "do you want a egg roll or crab rangoon with that order" @@hillbillyrv
Great job!
Thanks
👍👍

I’m concerned for you that should something happen in propane circuit that causes a fire or catastrophic event, would you be liable?
Like I said, most RVs don't have that solenoid anyway.
@@hillbillyrv when manufacturers decide those choices that’s on them, when a service technician does something to bypass a safety issue they become liable. Just a thought.
Thanks for the concern.@@joeconnett8112
Hmmm 🤔
hmmmmmm......indeed.
I thought you were getting rid of the beard?
It's going away.......
