The hill is better. However, the city doesn't maintain the sidewalks in the winter (where before there was a huge shoulder to walk on that was plowed by the city trucks). It forces people to walk in the road during winter. I believe I heard someone has already been hit by a car because of this. Had the project omitted the sidewalk, this project would have been perfect. Plows just push piles of snow onto the sidewalk.
We appreciate your feedback. Maybe the good people at the Grand Traverse County Road Commission could assist in this matter.
