Team Elmer's crews work hard to make Keystone Road safer by installing roundabouts on River and Cass Road in Traverse City, Michigan.
Many divisions came together to build this project; excavation, trucking, asphalt, concrete, and aggregate.
Roundabouts are safer because they reduce the severity of accidents.

They placed the asphalt over compacted soil and not over a bed of compacted gravel?
It's compacted road gravel in our area due to soil sub-grade type.
Those lines in the sky are not clouds and they are not condensation.

The white line denotes bike lane. Bikes would navigate the roundabout accordingly, using the full lane with the flow of traffic. We have some race teams that train in Grand Traverse and Leelanau County. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Great! Nice to see our taxpayer dollars being wasted on incorrect sidewalks.
Actually the contractor pays for any errors. The MDOT inspector confirms what was installed meets the contract design and specifications of the project. If not, than it has to be redone.
