Why you might ask - well, inductor cannot go "short circuit" when inductor itself is a WIRE. wire cannot turn into a wire. Afterwards, you replaced inductor and got didoe mode reading of .5V or so, on a pad which is GROUND. For everyone who doesnt beleave - go check A505F service manual / schematics, L7001 :)
great video - I have a50 with flash and camera working but not focusing- it makes absolutely no attempt to autofocus - I did all software updates, cache clears on phone app and via hard reset, still does not work - I do have another a50 doner that has dead screen so may try switch out the board.... do you think one of the components in the surround array may be responsible?
So could changing the screen also make the camera not work because I changed screen on mine and now the camera doesn't work or the fingerprint. The camera doesn't even pop the warning label the screen just stays dark showing shutter button only and nothing touches it closes the app after a few seconds. I checked the inductor it's still intact. I just want to know If it relates to screen replacement?
The screen will not affect the screen work, make sure the phone is ok before replacing the screen, and there is no error during the installation process

I've knocked off capacitor 6th from left to repair water damage phone. It was short. Camera not working and flash although flash shone for one time. Says camera app has stopped working. And flash says that other app using.My filter reads short so i think is ok. Think I'll have to pop the shields and clean more water damage and hopefully no shorted pins under chips.

I found the problem is the camera one of the three camera is falling and only one works so that what happens, I contacted the place that I bought the camera to get a replacement.

It's capacitor? and it is to ground or the line goes to any IC?
It is an inductor, and it cannot be to ground.
@@CINOTechnology i just know, resistor, capacitor, diode, in tiny components, mine was fixed. after clean because it's water damaged.
