I know that is probably asking for too much, but I wish they decorated the Jurassic Park area and the Feast Restaurant with the Topi Roppo (Since they are all characters that can turn into Dinosaurs). Maybe they could have even made it like one of Queen's clubs and had Apoo in the middle with a DJ table. Also, the Straw Hat on the T-Rex also would have been a great touch, (like you said).
I remember it being Wano Kuni themed last year, so they might have been around then. I was taking a break from the One Piece fandom then, so I didn't go in so I don't know for sure.
It's a shame that they don't have an anime store that carries all of the past pop up merchandise. When I visit next year, I would have loved to buy some of the stuff.

Yeah, it’s confusing. It’s probably a licensing thing. I know FUNimation holds the license for North America, but you’ll find their merch in the MIB gift shop at USF, and in the Japanese pavilion gift shop at EPCOT, all with the FUNimation logo. I guess neither park does anything behind this due to the properties not being as big as they are in Japan. You’d just think Universal would just ship that stuff over to the domestic parks since it’s already made. But due to licensing reasons, I guess they can’t sell the merch here without FUNimation getting a cut.

I would assume the Franky's Chicken is supposed to make you think it's how they would think of distinctly "American" food?

Was just at Universal Japan in the beginning of September. We were keen to get a Luffy hat but they were all sold out and it wasn't restocked the next day. It's crazy how quickly the popular merch sold out, couldn't find alot of Zoro or Luffy merch but alot of Sanji stuff was left over. 😅 Not sure how much merch will be left by October. I'd like to think they'd restock it a bit more as it's unfortunate for people who come at the end of the season.

I am so jealous! our parks pale in comparison! while we in Florida do have Epic Universe coming in a few years with Nintendo World, I highly doubt we'll get anything near as cool as the special events that USJ gets.

Dear Chris On Sunday August 13th (5 days ago) I was in Universal Studio and it was so hot from morning until afternoon. Right before I entered Super Mario World according to my time entry at 16:50, it was rainy with thunderstorm. USJ staffs were busy coordinating people to take cover. At that time I realized I must leave and head to parking lot. It took around 15 minutes walking fast to reach level 2 where I parked my car. It was quite scary because of the thunder On the next day at Kyoto Kinkakuji and Kiyomizudera were so hot and crowded, but at 3 PM I had to leave because of the typhoon warning. Finally around midnight the typhoon got me on the mountain between Gifu and Nagano. It was insane and I hardly saw the road Peace from Tochigi PS: In USJ I dressed up like a wierdo. I wore a cute headband, red & black yukata with a huge Hello Kitty head on the back, inside a white Doraemon t-shirt and short pants of Coppa One Piece. I also bought Mario Kart, Wiggle Wiggle and Jujutsu Kaisen popcorn buckets. Otto Minion and Yuji Itadori dink bottles too. I had them all hung on me PS2: I was looking for Attack on Titan Levi and Demon Slayer Nezuko popcorn buckets but the staffs told me that they're no longer available I was about to buy Minion popcorn bucket, but it doesn't look good because of the red pants on it looks meh' When I arrived at home, I checked USJ website then I saw that they sell Jurassic popcorn bucket! Why nobody ever mentioned about it? Almost forgot, I had lunch at Feast Restaurant and it was awesome! I had Luffy's Meaty Meat plate and Coppa mug! I guess I made my 2 brothers who couldn't join me jealous because we're all hue fans of One Piece. Also a couple of Europeans asked to take a picture together because I looked so 'funky' with all 'cute' accesories' on me I will definitely go back to USJ for Halloween and Christmas this year. And Disneyland+Sea too

Like how they incoperated the T-Rex into the mural, like how it is the thing you're eating! But sad that they didn't go for the meat on the bone for Luffy, since it just would fit so well.

Anyone in the park is able to buy the merchandise. There may be a line but you can simply line up.
