Nice rundown
I honestly don't have much of a problem with it. What typically happens is when someone gets into DAWS and VSTs. They don't learn instruments until they realize it's faster cooler sounding when you play them live. Electronic artists who use real instruments will always be a thing. It's just that Cool. Synthlords, Eurorack users, or even Guitar and loop station users.
I’ve used daws to make music and listened to music for 5-7+ hours everyday for two years now, and I prefer polished music over live. When you can spend 6+ hours just tweaking every single sound, it will sound more immersive and captivating than the raw sound of your playing. In your daw you can also make “beats” that no one in their right mind could ever play live, and tweak your samples and instruments based on their individual dynamics. Not to say live has to be bad, I just think you can achieve a lot more by recording your instruments 100s of times and eventually picking out the one that sounds best, while still having the power to listen to it a few hundred times to tweak it to your perfection.
Does the new Logic IOS run on a 2020 iPad Pro?
Top news and presenter as always! :P :)
Logic Pro 11 caught my attention for a moment, but being a Reaper user for years, I am still not convinced. There are many plugins out there that are beginning to do the same AI things.
Question: have you seen the Antelope Quadro? What do you think?
Whaa.
Artists have to suffer a lot currently
3d artist been for some years now.
You should get in before weaver beats ;)
Weaver does great job, I enjoy watching his stuff!
However, I think our news and styles are a bit different even though big news overlap often. I like to do rather summary of the week so people can get an idea of what just happened past week.
YOUR VOICE IS SO CUTE!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!
A fake voice for a fake girl.
@@user-vu6du5nx9q light up man, there are less hateful hobbies to pick up
I hate Apple as a company but I have to agree that their hardware is really good and outcompetes most other manufacturers.
Still won't ever buy their products
Hmmm... It's hard for me to find ANY fortune 500 company I don't hate in some - or MANY ways. Apple is way down on the list after Big Oil and Blackrock.
@@antfactor One in the same
I don’t understand what the problem is. People are too sensitive and too quick to find offence where none is intended.
You ever planned ahead?
First!! :D
Thank you!
🫀🫀🫀
Never take subscriptions, less is more. The Apple add is a shame and i only had Apple for 40 years now. USE your quantum brain! Ai is for loosers i guess if you think about it
AI can't play guitar.
Not yet
dude! this is so stupid, everybody picked up the non-news of apple’s commercial… it is a great commercial… it’s like trying to fund knots in shit….
It only shows that most people think that destroying all this cool stuff to replace it by a shitty iPad that will be obsolete in a year is a downgrade , a regression .
@@Dystopian84 No. Sadly, people are WHINING about it for ridiculous "snow-flakey" reasons... and I personally HATE that term, but it fits here.
@@antfactor and " useful idiots " also fits perfectly those who thinks like you , those who have successfully fooled themselves into believing that generative AI will compensate for their lack of talent . But the most important thing is that apple received the right message : the useful idiots might not be a majority
@@Dystopian84 Excuse me? LOL! I was stating an opinion, not making a personal statement about you. You know NOTHING about me, as a person, musician, or artist. I am anything but 'pro AI music or art'. I just think people are over-reacting to the ad. But if you find me "useful", so be it. 🤣
I agree. IMO: people are over-reacting unnecessarily. Apple has celebrated and been pro-arts since the beginning. I use my iPad to produce music and sound-design all the time. How people conflate this with AI in any sense is unreal to me.
