Fruit is the fertilized ovary in which seed are formed from ovule. Fruits are of 3 types-
• True fruit
• False fruit
• Parthenocarpic fruit
The ovary wall is called pericarp which is consist of Epicarp, Mesocarp, Endocarp.
Fruits are classified into 3 categories -
1) Simple fruit
2) Aggregate fruit
3) Composite fruit
