    Fishman Electronics marry into a mahogany body for a solid tone that is rich in harmonics. Multiscale fret system ensures correct intonation even in the lowest of tunings.
    Coil split and voice change tap pots allow for a universe of tonal possibility.
    A great guitar for any metal playing studio or gigging professional.

    First of all...Man those are some killer riffs!! Congrats!! Top!!
    The neck dives a lil, right? But is it disturbing when playing?
    Did you change the strings for F#? Some say to hold that tunning on a 27 " you need a 74 to 80 string gauge
    Again, nice playing!!!

    For a player such as yourself, how does the neutral position on the 9th effect your playing down low vs higher up on thr Cort compared to the Ibanez MS you reviewed in another video where the neutral is on the 12th?

    1. Awesome playing
    2. Awesome track

    4. Awesome review.
    But I must say there is something missing. When the djenting stops and you talk commenting on the guitar you should have some elevator music in the background. (ruclips.net/video/VBlFHuCzPgY/видео.html)

    Interesting thing is I have the same guitar but the logo is the old one. 🤨
    Also I have a question : What was the song you played (and the tuning) ? (0:00-3:04) It was insane and the mixing on that is just awesome 😮 I would love to mix my tracks like that..
    I wonder if you could make a video about mixing. 🥺

    • @HickiesMusicStore
      @HickiesMusicStore  Год назад +3

      Thanks so much for your kind words dude! The song is "Ghost In The Machine" by Arcaeon.
      Tuning is F# B F# B F# B F# (open f#)
      What pickups does your cort have installed?
      Also in terms of mixing, due to us focusing allready on live performances as part of our "live lounge" series and product demonstration, with the occasional tutorial - It would be stretching us a bit thin to focus on mix technique tutorials and shy away from our content in a way we think is best left to the channels that are primarily for learning mixing. I would reccomend checking out some of Adam "Nolly" Getgoods videos on mixing for a practical and relaxed approach to learning some great techniques for producing this sort of music.
      Hope this helps! - Sam

    Awesome review!! Makes it hard to choose between the 307 and the 507. I think the biggest difference apart from the weight would be the active v. passive pickups? Am I right?

    • @HickiesMusicStore
      @HickiesMusicStore  5 месяцев назад +1

      The fishman pickups in this model + locking tuners make a world of difference to stability and tone, worth trying both if you can, but considering the pickups retail for so much on their own, this particular multiscale seven is a steal. Really worth the extra.

      It's definately worth going for if you are into heavier styles and are into 7 strings dude, good choice.
      Signal chain is: - hands - KX507MS - DI Box (not a fancy one) - split to Fender GTX50 (monitoring) split DI signal to scarlet 18i24
      The final tone comes from re-amping the captured DI through Nueral DSP Archetype Petrucci amp plugin, which I have been using for all my guitar tones on the channel for a while now.

    I have one of the first run of the KX507MS, in fact I had one that I had to get a warranty swap on because the top E was almost inaudible using the bridge pickup with the coil split - the replacement they sent me was better but there's still a distinct volume gap between the high E and the other strings. I was curious to know if you had the same experience?

    • @HickiesMusicStore
      @HickiesMusicStore  Год назад +1

      David, this is a really good bit of feedback! I hadnt noticed this on the 3 models we have had come through and out of the shop but I wasnt neccecarily listening out for it. My advice would have been to raise the treble end of the pickup slightly? When we get another of these in I'll be sure to check this issue out. Thanks for the heads up! All the best - Sam

      @@HickiesMusicStore Thanks for the response! The first one was definitely a defect of some sort, all the tricks didn't work - going up a string gauge, adjusting the pickup height etc but the one it was replaced with is only noticeable now with the coil split and hasn't needed any adjustments otherwise (although I'm sure I'm hyper aware of it too!) both had the Fishman pickups
