This is an easy DIY project making miniature toy YoYo’s for decoration display using buttons, thread & card stock paper.
The video shows one way to put together common materials to make a YoYo tiny replica. It may be rolled up.
The steps can be modified to make larger or smaller sizes. This one is compatible for the 1:12 scale.
Materials:
[1] buttons - two flat, 1/4” diameter x 1/16” thick from plastic or similar material for main piece
[2] card stock - two 1/8” diameter circle pieces for inside
[3] thread - fabric or sewing, one 2 1/2” piece
[4] glue - PVA clear dry, like Aleen’s original tacky glue or others
[5] darning needle or something similar to form thread finger hole
[6] stickers - small to decorate YoYo sides or tiny paper punched shapes or sequins
[7] paper punches - 1/8” circle for center pieces
[8] scissors
[9] tweezers
[10] toothpick
[11] container to hold glue
[12] ruler
Notes:

miniature diorama displays, inside dollhouses, bedrooms, toy shops, stores, game competition themes, shadow box items, mini children scenes, playground activities or as mini gifts
