From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.

@@steph.a91well I mean the original mean girls is pg13 so if they are basing it off of the fact that the 13 year olds of 2004 will now be around 32 so in retrospect they are right the original mean girls fans form 2004 will most likely have kids of their own watching this since most 32 year olds tend to be settled down in a family now
@@taylormoran151 I'm 32 without kids but people I know my age have kids who are babies, toddlers or oldest 10 if they had them early 20s but not common. They're targetting more gen Z with this.

I watched the movie yesterday, it was really fun. I was such a huge fan of the original when it came out and I love the OST of the musical, so I was really excited for this and still exceeded my expectations. By no means it's perfect, ofc but it was fun, I do recommend.

Not to be that guy because I am also sad we can't get every song, but this is actually fairly generous for a movie musical. A lot of times they cut it down to 6-10 songs.

Did you think this through? Regina is average sized in this movie....and appears to do anything a skinny size can do

In another movie, a similar Regina George type character can be whatever but this is Mean Girls wherein the premise is she is perfect and skinny so they made her eat those bars to fool her and even rewire her weighing scale so she wont find out she is gaining weight. The movie and characters are iconic just like let's say Superman. You won't cast a fat Superman right? And remember Regina George is flawless..not average
But your missing the point...She's still Regina, as long as the fat Superman have superman powers and qualities it's still Superman. Regina in 2004 was average, just like Regina in 2024...
