Though I am loathe to support the social media art of the intelligence community, I must leave a like and an appreciative comment. A bat got into my house, I whacked it with a broom, it flew off into a corner and seemingly vanished. Try as I might I could not figure out where that thing got to. But I played this frequency and the thing came flying right back out, just in time to meet its maker.
Can you make one that’s a hour long?

The only sound we here are echo ping and wind turbulent danger cry, for NorCal anyhow. These are chirps that ping ping ping ping. Or chirp like a grasshopper amplified in its throat.

Well, the bat was hiding for several minutes then we played this and a few minutes into the video the bat was flying again and well, now I do not think it will fly ever again. I tried soft hits before it disappeared with a towel and when it came out again I made sure it did not get away again... that being said I was playing this through a 750 watt stereo although we could hear nothing.
But.... why?

Because it’s so high pitched humans can’t hear it. Bats have the best hearing so they can hear it.

It’s meant for cave and high flyer bats. Not house bats. House bats have different ears. Plus the door May be muffling the sound if it’s from behind it.
If not then ok, it might not have worked for you. But no need to tell the maker to stop posting content. That’s just rude cause he has other spans of content that help other day to day people.
