I had the same problem about two years ago it was the break vacuum fault I was going to do the job myself and bought a sensor for about 40 quid a decent one, and a long nose bent pliers but the codes I was getting was saying three different things so I eventually begrudgingly took it to BMW and they charge me £400 I wish I would’ve had the confidence to do the job because like in your video that was the only way to go. Thanks Ant for the video great as always.
After being out of the motor trade some years now and after buying one of these gremlin filled e91s your vids are coming in very handy! Great work boss !
This worked on my 1er E87 diesel, just careful the sensor is elsewhere, located on the right side below the brake fluid container. After changing the sensor, the error dissapeared, no need to clean the codes.
same issue on my e92, wonder if my 6 year old can get her hand down there? :) looks like a pretty annoying job... more annoying than the warning/bong noise
Love this video mate , you are lifesaver. good job , Any issue after that with respected to the problem you have ? mean the is the Amazon sensor working well ??
Personally I replace any part (particularly anything under the bonnet) with genuine OEM BMW parts. It’s not worth the risk of them not fitting/working, lower quality parts that’ll have you chasing your tail 6 months later when they fail all just to save a little bit. Don’t skimp and cause youreself more work (from experience)

@@user-pb4bn1eb2j Hi there. I had the high brake load yellow brake warning light on the dash as well as the red engine light on my car which means stop driving. I replaced the brake vacuum sensor and cleared the faults using a professional level diagnostic tool and both the high brake loading fault as well as the engine light have both disappeared and stayed off for good.

That worked perfectly, thanks! For those who don't know you don't need the scanner to clear the code, it clears itself.
Glad it helped, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Perfekt! I looked everywhere for this error. Thanks to the video, I was able to easily solve the problem myself.
Mine had stop start fault. Tried this £20 part and an hour fiddling and it's fixed. Thanks so much for helpful tips 👍
