I love this film perfected by the chosen actors to portray their individual characters. Should I be judged for watching it again and again? I really don’t care it makes me feel humble and joyful to watch . I am an old woman now (80) for some reason this movie reminds me of the young me falling in love. I feel the same way. I can kind of relate. I was a city raised girl who married a farm guy. At first I thought, "What the hell did I get myself into??" After 40 years and three sons I can honestly say that the ordinary days are truly the best days!!
This is one of my favorite Hallmark movies because it is so real. Nothing is forced or perfect. The casting is perfect though! I love them all . They did great!

Finding this behind-the-scenes look at the making of this Hallmark movie was like discovering an unexpected gem! I have loved this movie since it was first broadcast in 2008, so much so that I never forgot it and when it appeared for viewing at other times, I watched it again! Now, I've seen this RUclips video at least 5 times, maybe more. I love the story; I love the cast; I love the script; I love the cinematography; I love it all! Thanks for posting!

I just discovered this movie last week and I cannot contain myself, I watched this as soon as I have time and been watching this everyday and sometimes 2x a day! oh no?! this is the only movie I keep on replaying, watching...I never get bored watching this. To the staffs and crews who did well and made this look real, to the scriptwriter and Director, I thank you so much for the best result of this movie...and most of all, to the actors who all played well like Martha and Hank (they were just amazing and lively couple and look well in old times), their kids, and the one that looks twins who baked cake, their funny, to two Japanese girls, they were good too...but most of all, to Skeet and Keri who did very well in their part. They really looked a good team with their awkwardness, it makes me giggle (hahaha)...they were so good really. Too much appreciation for this movie, thank you so much! And i will keep on watching this more...Hoping more Skeet and Keri`s work.

❤🕊 Wouldn't it be just great if they made a sequel I just love the character of Ray.....every girls dream of a good man...fully of integrity, honour, TRUTH, faith and having eyes only for his lady and no other !!! Pity this sought of integrity and honour isn't promoted more as the bar of excellence to aim for rather than evil, violence, lust, blood and darkness
I love this movie! I have watched it at least 50 times. I love the story, the cast and the "magic" it gives. It makes me want to live in those days and experience the simplicity of life back then. I love all the characters but especially adore the Mare Winningham's character. She is the best big sister anybody could ask for. One of the best movies of all times!
This movie really moved me to contact HHOF to inquire about a sequel. Alas, it does not sound like that is going to happen, but I enjoyed this move so much that i bought the book. Keri & Skeet are so ver real and heartwarming in their scenes. Mare Whittingham as always provides a wonderful supportive family member. I have this permantely saved on the DVR so when the mood stikes, i can watch it. Addionally, my teenage daughter enjoyed it as well.

The book is so different. Hallmark is the best most lovely version. The book has too many political undertones. Love love love the movie.
