Love the bike Smokey but my only complaint is with the rear lighting. BMW had the opportunity to create a great looking rear light that would catch the attention of those sleeping drivers. I know they needed to lose weight but not in areas that impact safety.

It’s also only 150$ compared to newer gps’s from bmw🤷🏻♂️. Hope this interest someone out in RUclips land and if you have any questions about it I’ll answer them.

The stoplight is gonna be an issue for the aftermarket guy’s because for me it’s not working…so question is,can one fit an EZ Can and fit extra lights without losing warranty?I’ve ordered one so would like to know
Rear lighting needs a center light that is small but very bright. Integrating the brake light into the turn signal lights is good but it really really needs the center light!, BMW you missed that one…. But BMW the rest of the bike is good to go. I might consider getting one but need to find a attention getting rear brake light
So have to get the Akrapovic exhaust, sounds great. But will wait for the GSA. As for the lithium battery, quick and cheap way to save weight. However, if you fit your bike with a tracker it will drain the lithium battery every 10-14 days if you don't ride it. Not a problem if you use a conventional lead battery. Also, lithium batteries do not like the cold. You have to turn on the ignition for a minute, then turn off and then turn it on again and try the starter. The minute seems to warm up the lithium battery.
