It took 43 years to realise I was a good person. I realised I've always been a good person. Just very easily triggered by narcissists since I was severely abused by them my whole life. I even used to scapegoat myself to try to please them. Losing my temper at their toxic behavior was the thing that made me hate myself but now I see that I was right. Therapy works.
