We used to go spotting at Manchester (Ringway) in the '50s. Highlight of the day was a Britannia or DC 7C. More usual fare was Dakotas, Viscounts and Fokker Friendships. We witnessed the first Sabena 707 to land there. Our usual haunt was among the landing lights at the NE end of the runway dodging security on their occassional sweeps. In quiet periods we would wander round to Fairey Aviation to see what they had there at that time. Things have changed a lot since then.
Hi Nice to follow this flight to Manchester . I have a question to you I can see the haltimeter the MPH incrusted in front of your video where can you find this attachment application? Thanks for your kind answer.
I haven't flown now for over 20 years, the last flight was home from the Costa Del Sol on a replacement plane due to ours developing a problem, we ended up on an Air Scandic A300.
Surprised you're showing speed in miles per hour since this is a British video on a BA flight in UK. Britain, along with the entire rest of Europe normally used the kilometer scale and not the mile scale like the US
I like how you put the little compass in the corner, cool!
Thanks very much :)
@@worldaviation4k 19:42 - that's Bedford down below, isn't it?
23:09 - the lake I see is Rutland Water Nature Reserve, I think
That landing thoug. Smooth as a butter. I never realised he landed until I saw the flaps.

Great flight. Not very long, short and low cruise and nice clear weather. Good stuff. :)
Yeah it's a nice fun & short one
Your time and effort made into making these videos are noted, 100% determination also.
Thanks very much 😊

Nice flight! Before recording a full flight like this do you have to ask the flight crew? I’d like to record my flights too
Nice video!
Just wonder how do you display all those parameters on the screen? Any special app?
They had the jetway attached but still made you board from the rear? lol
Was that an app you were using for speed, altitude, etc? If so, what is it please? Cheers!

Uk uses mph
Let me get this right.. you flew from London to Manchester and it took over an hour.
And we question why this world is in so much trouble...
Wat aircraft
The fist 5th of the video is on the ground.
That flight attendant looks like she’s not English? The accent is strange...
You could drive there easily in under 3 hours, cheaper as well..
Takes me 4-5 hours
First :) I don’t know if I can make this one
Hope you were able to
