Stephanie Vaquer vs Giulia part 2. I don't doubt Shawn is already thinking this.
WWE now have both Guilia and Steph coming to join the likes of Perez, Stratton, Green, Bayley, Belair, Morgan, Ripley and so on. Already been loving what WWE have been doing, but even more excited to see what they do with them
Weak. The AEW's top women's top storyline is actually based on women, The WWE's top storyline is based off a corny high school love triangle with Mid Morgan and Rhea Ripley. Other than Giulia, Steph, Bianca, and Rhea the women’s roster is trash.
It's not just Shawn Michaels, but both Ava & the WWE Spanish Twitter account even acknowledged Stephanie signing as well. It also makes sense since if Stephanie was to head to AEW, then CMLL would've allowed her to remain champion because of their relationship with AEW.

Yeah, when it’s they signed with AEW it’s they really wanted to go there. Let’s be honest Tony offers stupid money to wrestler is all the time. So to assume that it is solely the money and that WWE had to be where the money is a pretty stupid line. Tony has given huge money contracts to many people that do not deserve huge money contracts. So I have no doubt that the offer was ridiculously competitive at the very least. At least the girl will be in a real women’s division.
I wonder the same since I'm sure some (non-WWE) wrestlers have dreams to wrestle for WWE as well.
Because they're not thinking of the wrestler's interest, they're mainly focused on promotion vs promotion warfare. That's why financial gain seems to be the focus

Some of the luchadores in AEW defended her ex-bf after he nearly strangled her to death. I'm sure she didn't mind working for AEW here and there, but being in that locker room long term was probably less than appealing with those luchas in the company.

If people know her personal situation and those associated with that situation in AEW, I think it’s pretty obvious she was probably never gonna go there, plus WWE has always been her dream, even 3 years ago when NXT was at its lowest and AEW at its highest, she still said she’d rather be in NXT

It actually would not be a bad idea. She could be a tag team with Electra Lopez, and then there’s another tag team for the division.
So Maria turns heel on Tony, who is supposed to be a heel? well I guess that makes sense for this company where people are a heel woman week and then a face the next week and then back to be in a heel the following week not for any actual reason or anything but it all depends on what Tony wants to do in that moment. turns in AEW are meaningless because they literally happen all the damn time.

@@kayhaich so is it just as bad when all of the white people are battling each other most of the time I do not as much see a problem with these two groups fighting each other semi exclusively, especially when they are in a feud together. just like when you have a cruiserweight division semi-exclusively fight each other.
I was a bit sad to see the Mariah and Toni breakup, but both women are awesome and I look forward to their feud!

Watched her match. She did great against mone. Some say she outperformed, i say mone underperformed. Lets see how much better can vaquer get in NXT. Her future is bright.

Maybe she always knew she was going to WE. But she'd still be stupid not to hear AEW out and get an offer. If WWE knew she was not talking to AEW, they can make a lower offer. It's just simple business. Play your second choice to get a better offer from your dream job.
@@moopert86 her career would of died in AEW, the moment you sign that contract you know TK will play with you for a little bit and get bored and moved onto his next toy, it keeps happening over and over again, well unless you suck up to the EVP's.
She also had a tryout in 2018 and has had a lot positive to say about that experience when she’s talked about it.
While I would have wanted her to got to aew, I’m glad she’s getting the international love that she deserves. Vamos Vaquer!!!!!

I could see the bucks overturning the result of the final match because Jeff Jarrett called the pinfall and he isn't an official ref. They will insert him in the main event at Wembley as a favour in helping them win blood and guts
Vaquer vs Giulia in 1 on 1 matches stands at 1-0 for Vaquer. This can be a great rivalry for the future. Do it right Shawn & Hunter
You're assuming she went to WWE cause of more money. Maybe she just liked the people or creative pitches better. Or she wants to work in front of more people. Or wants to wrestle on Wrestlemania. Unless we get specifics on contract numbers that were offered, anything could be the reason she chose WWE.
My reason exactly her potential would of been squandered in AEW due to the Snowmans way of booking and she would of been worth nothing when her contract expired, look at Paige MASSIVE signing and now nothing.
Also WWE seems primed right now to expand it's women's division with mid card titles along with working with the indies now. AEWs women's division just isn't that strong compared to WWE.
@@jasmith85 paige isn't a good wrassler. it has nothing to do with booking. she's not a good promo or good in the ring. you are clearly one of those "i blindly hate aew" people who don't watch the show so you still think paige is what she was 10 years ago.
Vaquer should never take an AEW offer unless they get her title back and give Mone an ass whooping. AEW would never do that.

AEW has never been in the business of letting women main event PPVs, but Toni Storm vs Mariah May absolutely deserves to be this year's Wembley headliner.
Never heard of Stephanie Vaquer before but its great to hear that for once WWE succeeded in outbidding aew for new talent. After WWE previously came up short against aew in trying to sign marquee NJPW stars like Kenny, Will, Okada & Jay, hopefully WWE will start to step up their recruiting efforts way more harder against tony hoarder from here on in especially as WWE as the far hotter promotion right now.
Stephanie, Giulia and possible Jordynne Grace by January, WWE's women's division is about to be like an All-Star team.

I am happy for Vaquer's new deal, but sadly, this shows once again that WWE doesn't like to play nice. What is wrong with Vaquer doing a couple more shows before starting at WWE, so she can drop the belts, do a lovely farewell and thank you to fans, and eventually make her way to the Performance Center. I don't understand why WWE thinks they have to snatch someone immediately. This really doesn't make them look good in this deal, and the fact that Vaquer had to apologize for the inconveniences and not WWE is telling. NJPW and CMLL are definitely not happy with how WWE handled this, and I'm sure it is going to taint any possible future relations.

"Lets not put her in the LWO" seems like a weird thing to say with Bayley, Perez, and Priest all holding titles, and Lola Vice challenging for one last weekend and all being Latinos.
Bayley doesn't lean into being Latina at all, and Priest has an extensive history of feuding directly with the LWO along with Dom, so he's kind of still in that LWO vortex. Roxy and Lola Vice are still on NXT.

They didnt bring up that a major reason she may have signed with WWE is some Luchadores in AEW (Rush and Dralistico) publically supported Vaquer's ex-bf after he was arrested for nearly choking her to death.
It may have deterred her from signing there and having to share a locker room with men who supported your abuser.
There are other benefits of signing with WWE. Like better stability, more opportunities to improve, as well as performing in front of more people.
But sure lets go with money as to why

Ummm. It's pretty clear that IS the end goal. With All Out 2 weeks after, they'll definitely need a big match to sell the PPV. What better than Swerve and Hangman finally fighting with Swerve riding massive momentum from a win against Bryan at All In.

@@PMKru Don't get me wrong, I'm not downing her or intending to treat her height like a negative. I don't think it should be a big deal compared to talent, but the division is definitely going taller these days. A lot of athletes 5'8" or taller. Yeah Roxanne, Liv, Zelina, Iyo... I'm not saying there's no place for wrestlers closer to 5 feet, it's just one of those things in the back of your mind. You start seeing a pattern, and hope things don't start shifting towards focusing on that aspect.

Is anyone surprised that Vaquer went to WWE with how AEW women's division is booked it's no surprise.
Also Danielson won the Owen Hart championship but Bryan recently did an interview saying he doesn't want to win the belt and shouldn't at his stage of his career (fair enough can't argue there). Since the AEW Neckbeard fanbase at all internet die Uncle Dave loving marks it doesn't make and sense to have Bryan win the tournament, saying that this Tony Klown's way of booking the Chewbacca approach.
It's upsetting since there is so much potential in AEW (and so many duds pointing at the Elite and Pals), there is a decent WWE alternative under all the mess/bad booking/bad decision making/money wasted etc... but Tony Klown can't get out his own way and admit he knows nothing and hire real professionals with a track record, turn this into a profitable successful business instead of E-Fed wrestling and being the butt of all jokes. I bet most of the upper talent just sit and laugh at TK since they can rob him blind while TK just wants to play with his toys.
