My little brother doesn't want a child so I told him to get a vasectomy because he can't put his choice in other peoples hands
Very true!!
Me too. Both my brother and son.
I’m here from Tik Tok. Love the conversation ladies❤
Welcome ♥️
The contagious smile makes it hard to scroll past this podcast
“The onus of not having a baby is on the person who doesn’t wanna have one” Ursula really dropped a bar! 🔥🔥🔥
A friend of mine got sexually assaulted some time ago, and she didn't open a case against that guy because she felt she didn't want to relive that moment. So she went for therapy and decided to work on herself while the guy continues as usual. Lately she's been living with the guilt that what if this guy does what he did to her to another girl. She feels it will be her fault because she had the opportunity to lay a charge against him but she didn't. And now it's kinda too late to lay that charge because it will be her word against his. On the part about a former prisoner, bro rehabilitation or not, you left someone else with a scar that will most probably change their perspective of life.
The correlation between crime and poverty in SA is actually because we are the most unequal society in the world. If we are all in one boat, then you can't covet each other's things.
As a lawyer i can attest to what Ursula said and it's so sad when you want to help a client but SAPS is like "Oh well🤷"
What’s even worse is that if you were to get pregnant as a result of rape, your rapist is “the father” and therefore entitled to his “parental rights” and even if he is convicted and in jail, and he wants to see the child, you must take that child (sometimes not necessarily)
This means that anything that has to do with the child, you need to consult with your rapist 🫠 your rapist has the right to be notified of care proceedings, to information about the child, and to be involved in any important decisions about the upbringing of this child.
Loving the conversations thank you ❤
Sex isn’t somely for procreation purposes. That’s a very reductive view.
Sex and food are the same in my eyes. It’s multi functional pleasure. The myriad of sexual activities also alludes to enjoyment more than procreation. But I love the comment on the onus for contraception being on the one who is not keen on children. And yes, vasectomies would actually solve a lot of problems! Snip snip snip 💆🏾
Yes I agree with you😅
First of all, a vasectomy costs at least R16500 at Netcare. I cant imagine the cost of having it reversed. Also a vasectomy is a medical procedure (operation), reversing it does not guarantee that you'll be back to your normal past.
I also found this channel on Tik Tok
This was refreshing to watch🫶🏾
