Jennifer Cooke was one of the few actors from the V tv series that Micheal Ironside mentioned he actually enjoyed working with her and his now late friend Mick Jones
Love this interview Jennifer cook is one of my favorite actress of all times she was so gorgeous its really hard to find videos of her today i think she retired right after Jason lives 1986
This is fabulous,to see 2 of the most exciting characters to join the explosive V saga after the 2 V miniseries! Seeing them sit side and being interviewed on the cult classic show V is amazing. June was great in playing Diana's rival. Every episode of the series it was always ice cold nastiness between the 2 and June portrayed the perfect part of somebody that was to be Diana's rival! And i can't say enough about Jennifer's great and emotional performance as Elizabeth!! The always exciting and romantic relationship between her Kyle was always something to watch on V and i still watch it to this day!! Her love for Kyle was always so strong and the episode when she found it that her mother loved Kyle too and how unsettling that was to her really showed the strong emotional bond she had towards Kyle!!
I love that red on Jennifer Cooke! She is such a goddess. I'm not too familiar w/her outside of Friday the 13th Part V, but she's a lovely person. She's got beauty where it really counts.
Wow! Great Clip. Loved V. It's crazy what you could get away with saying as a host back then. Making fun of a person's weight. You couldn't say that today without severe backlash.
I loved their work in V. Actors and actresses back then seemed more sophisticated and well read. There's a lot of trash today on TV, but there are still good actors and actresses, but more trashy ones.
The reason for this would probably be modern social media. Back in those days you still had to have some sort of experience in acting or a background on the stage. If you didn't have it you could be trained and get lessons from a movie studio. Today? You might be a celebrity known to many millions worldwide just because your channel on YT is very popular among the "target demographic" (read kids aged 8-15). And that is quite *enough* to be promoted to acting circles. Far too many "social media celebrities" have been given a chance by real tv channels. Now fair enough, most of them don't make it anyway but the way I see it they shouldn't even be considered in the first place. Sure, there were a few "manufactured" celebrities (read pitched by a studio as "the next big thing") back then as well, but they never ever became household names who most people considered "the cream of Hollywood". Today? I'd say 9 out 10 young actors and actresses are manufactured by Disney and other big studios.
He came off as awkward giving this interview. Brash to remark on her weight like he did these days he wouldn't have a job after that crack.. 15lbs is a lot to lose in 4 or 5 days no wonder eating disorders were rife in the 80s. Loved V and both these gals were amazing.
Jennifer Cooke does not play a villain in V. She is the Star Child. Jennifer Cooke looks absolutely gorgeous. I wish that they would go back and continue the show from the episode 19 in the original series so there is no cliffhanger. Great show from the 1980s.
"Elizabeth " (Jennifer Cooke) was never a villian ..whoever wrote that up was obviously thinking it was Jane Badler ...this what happens a lot when the people on talk shows are not actually fans of show the actors are in lol
Elizabeth Maxwell should have been in the V 2008-10. It could be narrated as her going through a third metamorphosis and she became a senior citizen. They could have the Late Lauren Bacall playing the half human/visitor.
V The Series wasn’t anywhere close to the quality of the original miniseries, but these two actresses held their own on the show. Regis was incredibly awful and cringe here with the way he addressed the topic of Jennifer’s weight. It’s like he’s never spoken to women before.
J'avoue!!
Gorgeous and talented June Chadwick should have been given more serious gigs but since she wasn't of the Hollywood mashugana tribe, she got passed over.
That host was a complete pleb. Calling the show Z instead of V. He had to concentrate very hard reading his intro card too......not a very organised host and rude too.
I loved June Chadwick. I bought many movies, both VHS and DVD.
me 2
Treasure of treasures. Beauty overload. A really good and funny interview.
They didn't seem comfortably with his lechery.

I love it Jennifer Cooke ❤
If my time machine ever works, she will be the first celebrity I visit.
@@trhansen3244 SAMEEEE!!!
She was more wooden than a pair of clogs.
June Chadwick is great. Loved her in This Is Spinal Tap!
Jennifer Cooke, man. Just lovely.

Jennifer seems so sweet and humble. I'm sure the Hollywood predator environment wasn't 4 her.
Hii, Jennifer Cooke is one of my favorite actresses, you won't have any more videos of her put there, I'd really appreciate it
This one interview might be all I have but I'll certainly upload anything I do find.
@@haveyouseenthis516 Okay, I appreciate it

My crush in the show was Dr. Parrish, but all the ladies were gorgeous! Diana, Lidia, Robin, Elizabeth...
Omg I love every TV star interview 😊👍🏆
My god , taking about being over weight & losing 15lbs - you’d never get away with that nowadays
I always fancied june Chadwick

True. Both seem to b very nice people.
Part vi
Elizabeth was never a villian!
that's what I said! He got it wrong!
She is in "Reflections of terror" episode.

Good for Jennifer! That whole weight thing was darn embarrassing and unprofessional. 😒
But so happy to see this interview. 😍

Why are they saying Jennifer Cooke plays a villain in the show? No she doesn't! Also June Chadwick Rocks!
She played a villain in certain episode. Kind of an evil clone of Elizabeth...
@@cargo71 oh yeah, that one! I forgot!
@@cargo71 And I read her character would have become evil in the scripts of future episodes never filmed.
Regis meant that in terms of the casting
In several ways, Regis Philbin did a poor job here.
Una serie buenosima mi madre me mostro la serie desde argentina
Regis’ weight jokes and questions wouldn’t fly today.
He probably rubbed both the actress and the audience the wrong way back then too. His comments were super cringy.
@@EastSide-qc5oy Uber creepy guy!
What does he mean 2 villains? Jennifer Cooke played a good guy!
Did I just watch a scene from the Anchor man? That host was like a parody of hosts back then.
Alien leader? Diana (Jane Badler) might have something to say about that!
Elizabeth isn’t a villain. Never was.
In one episode there was an "evil" clone of Elizabeth. More like a wild predator, really...
She was gonna b on the episodes never recorded, the continuation of "V".

Robin is human. She is Elizabeth's mother.

Jeez, Regis was quite mean to Ms Cooke here. She was clearly shocked.
He was a complete tool
He's stupid and misogynistic. Also he I'll prepared and didn't bother to try to learn anything about the show. What a wasted interview.
