- If you have looked at the description you may have thought this video is a joke, and it is. If you watch the whole thing I hole you are entertained. This video is not educational, all the things I say it it are false. It’s April fools day, even in Florida.
Thank goodness we have a tea pot master like you to show us the light. You are a blessing. :)
Looks very much like the pots I make. Thanks for validating my masterful skills.
I was very amused until I realized my teapots looks just like this! :) Thanks Tim...
I love a sharp hand pulled handle that is too wide to actually use. Wabi Sabi me baby!
This is by far the best April's fool this year. I'm sitting here laughing out loud 😂😂😂
I don't get it. Is this not what a teapot should look like?
@@marissa_____ are you being sarcastic? 😂
@@kathythibault7533 maybe they are from Florida?
@@marissa_____ it’s an April fools joke.
I’ve been laughing about this all day; driving to work, standing in line at the checkout, teaching my young artists... literally, spontaneous fits of laugh-out-loud fun. Sure, people think I’m crazy, but so what. 😂
You are so darned funny, Tim! LOVED this! Ahhhhhhhhh!
Oh Tim... I loved this!!! Thank you!!! What mad skills to be able to wield that board perfectly! Lol I could only hope to do so well with my endeavors.
😂❤️😂 Takes some skill to make something like that, so badly. Well done. 😘
Got me good!! Thanks for the laughter and it just fun to watch you work.
MeowMeowMeowMeow song - love it! You have inspired me, sir to make an American style teapot! 🤣
I just laughed so loud I woke the dogs! Great video. Nice tea pot. Thank you for ANOTHER great tutorial.
Especially if you're sitting in the back row of pottery class there's a chance to see entirely too many S-cracks.
Oh yeah I’m trying this pulling down thing today... because knuckle dragging worked so well! If you pull out a baby 🐄 cow, imma gonna die. 😂 you’re hilarious. And you never lie!
If I use lemon Pine Sol, will my tea be lemon flavored? Because that would be a cool feature.
That first sentence. Everything followed that exactly.
I can’t stop laughing! Well done. Love the subtle comments that only real potters will understand
For a second there you got me, Tim! Happy april fools!
Same. It took Tim getting meaner and meaner for me to get it.
So good. I especially appreciate the insight on handle technique. 😂
Ohhhh wuaoooo. I’m a baby as a Potter, but is the first time; I see someone doing a Lid first before the tea Pot. Is just amazing.
Masterful control of a hitherto underground comedy genre
I’m amazed at your wealth of knowledge about teapots is just astounding. Have you ever considered writing a book??
🤣🤣🤣 that is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time 🤣 I love April 1st 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Even knowing what was going on I was getting annoyed watching, so, so funny
Definitely the most helpful video to date! All my handles will be thrown with jaggedy edges from now on!
I was excited to see you had released a new video and this was so helpful. Thanks so much, Tim. #ProbablyFromEngland
trusted you until halfway through.
You are the wabi sabi master. Happy April Fools day. That was fun and I could identify with everything you said. You brought me to tears.
I found myself saying “what...what?”
Reminds me of the 1-minute tea pot that Jonny Vegas made on Pottery Throw Down… only this made me laugh until I p’d a little!!!
Being new to potting, I was being waaaaay too serious at how terrible I am at this. Ready to dig in again with a grin. 😋 Thank you!
ROFL! LOVE IT. Love your humor.
Lol. Hilarious Tim! I sure hope any newbies realize this is an April Fool's video. 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀
LOL You are a hoot. I am so glad to learn from you the "right way" to build a teapot. ;)
OMG, so funny! Thanks for the gut busting laugh!
Best class EVER!!!!!!
You made the 25 minutes much worth in my life to watch the tears in making a teapot until the end.Seen your impressed hands and comments on how you can bend the clay. Keep creating
thanks a lot for videos, I love your all videos and happy to find you
You are INSANE! Loved it!!
You're a gem !!😂
You are an evil person, making me snort my coffee out through my nose several times. (I'll rewatch this so I can snort my tea.) "Teabagging"........really!!!!????
Still better than any teapot I can make 😂🤣
Absolutely the best demo you have ever made.
So inclusive of all folk who do pottery with even a nod to those coffee drinkers.
Will we have to wait until next year for you to do the one and only best coffee pour, or did I miss it?
Wonder if I will taste the lemon in my tea from the Pine Sol?
Thanks for the April fools joke 😂. Going through all you video's and learned a ton already. Thank you! I truly hope your doing okay, you touched my heart. I am grateful to have you as my teacher 🙏❤
Oh my. I really hope you fire this... for posterity, you know!!!
Amazeballs!!!
The regular Pine Sol will work as well 😆
OMG THANK GOD FOR THE DESCRIPTION because I just watched it few days after 1st of April and I already was planning to learn the "pulling down" technique. I also recently learnt to pull handles, I was so proud and I felt like an idiot after this video. Hahaha omg, but my excuse is that I´m a newby!
You got me
Oh my goodness. That was soooo informative. Thank you. Now I have to get myself off the floor. : ) :) :) .
I'm a beginner and was sooooo confused. Like...what is he doing??? I'd never seen or heard this in any video, class, or demo. I went straight to the comments to see what people were saying! LORL🤣God one!
😂😂😂 I am watching this in November. I was SO! confused at first. I thought you had bumped your head! I was worried about you! Until I ran to the comments at about 5 min in. Now… now I realized you’re a genius 😂😂😂 you truly are a Big Dill!!
Perfect teapot for someone who doesn't drink tea!
The hair 🤣🤣🤣. Too much!
Thanks for the great info -- never knew I was making my tea pots with so many things wrong - no wonder they never sell -- I'll always think of you from now on while making my new and improved "American" tea pots. I know I can make it through another year with supportive master potters like you ❤️
COVID brings back 1970s hair. I wish I had hair to go wild.
Love the video! As usual your snarkiness is spot on
Hilarious!!!
OMG ... it's Frankenstein's tea pot 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am so glad I found this as a complete noob. See, today is my 9 year anniversary and my wife got me a wheel and some clay. Unfortunately, you said that if you learn one pound, you should use... 2.5 pounds was it? More is better. But since I learned 2.5 pounds, I'm clearly going to need 20 pounds to make a good teapot that will have to stay on the kitchen floor to make sure it gets used. Thanks again!
If this was the first video you caught of mine I’m sorry. This one isn’t so helpful, it’s one of the April fools day ones.
Nah it was entertaining and clearly a joke video, so I wasn't trying to follow along at home or anything. My first video of yours was in the beginners series showing the basics of centering and pulling it up till it breaks. I'll practice that a bit before making my dog sized tea pot.
This is fantastic XD
I'm brand new to pottery and was ready to learn some good stuff. Some things seemed very wrong, but I figured I just didnt know any better. The longer this went on the more my eyes squinted, especially with the tea info leaked throughout.
You got me for a little bit there lol 😅
SORRY, i hope the other videos are helpful... ps don't listen to the plater video either
@@timseepots It was a great video. I got to see what not to do, or maybe how to make a watering can lol. You have a new subscriber 😊
Absolutely hilarious!
The gas fill and woof! 👏👏
I have found that I prefer the lavender Pine Sol. My kiln smells fresher and lovelier with each firing.
It took me 20 minutes to look at the date
That's a real smokin' pot! BTW, what WERE you smokin'? Lol! Happy April Fool's!
Happy April 1st!!!
Epic!
Thank you❣️ non of your videos will go to waste
Brilliant!
I am a pokemon go people!!!
I am a Wizard's Unite people!!!
Welcome Back Tim. Love the hairdo and beard. Yikes the studio looks really clean lol, thanks to the Pinesol, clean tea as well. You are the "Bobby Duke Arts" of the Pottery World huh? Check out his RUclipss ; )
Putting the handle on top... doesnt that make it harder to get the lid off???
Love it: do as I do not as I say LOL
This is the best.
great video. thanks!
Buahahahahaha!!
Do you sell them Timsee Tammy board ribs on Etsy? My rubber kidneys are not cutting it
Happy April Fools Day! 😊
LOL
Loved it. Very educational, first time I’ve seen handles and spouts thrown on a wheel. Do you have a picture of the finished product?
This was an April fools day video, all information contained should be thought of as wrong
Hahahahah 😂😂😂
😂 Thanks! That was a lot of fun.
16:39 21:57 and 22:51 made me laugh outloud.
Shouldn't your wheel be spinning clockwise?
It is I just am upside down
Haaaaaaaahhaaaaaaaaa!
Hey do you live in Wisconsin so we can sign up for your class
There are better people in Wisconsin. A big teapot making tradition there because of the cheeses
Haha no one uses it anyways 🤣
Ya know I knew this was satire but it didn’t even occur to me that today was April fool’s day until I went to the comments. 🤦🏻
Oooooooh aaaahhhhh. Arrr arrr arrrr. Where’s your mask! Xx
Here I am watching a tea pot being made with a big dill in my face! Where is the xtube video? lol
🤣

Whatcha got going on here
Yeah, well I'm watching it in October '22. Came here from the fb group.
Hit the subscribe button, and immediately clicked on this teapot tutorial.
Highly confused/offended as a tea drinker from the US, by the cup with teabags, have never used my teapot... almost unsubscribed before the clip was done.
Dude, you got me good. Gonna give you another chance and try a different post.
@@Lavonne9870 Lolol those April ones are the ones to avoid
Duuude!!! Maybe your wife was right!?!? 😜
