I'm sure every potter has their own white whale, well mine is teapot spouts. My spouts always look like a bulky funnel. I'm going to try the Popsicle stick while collaring and hopefully it'll be more graceful like yours.
I'm sure potters and beginners alike will learn a lot form this demo Hain-chuen, very nice inspiring video.

I like the way you make your spouts, I think the spout is the most important part of a teapot. I adopted your method a long time ago.
Getting the right balance with all the parts is SO important isn't it .I remember when I first started to make teapots that the spouts looked quite phallic : haha

How much clay do you use for the lid and spout?
Approximately 1/2 Lb for the lid and 1/4 Lb for the spout
Please take your mask off. They are worthless. Enjoy your skill &demo however.
