The first time I saw one, I was blown away. Watching it willfully stall in the vertical.. then just point its nose wherever it wants, is definitely a sight to see..
This would take a world class pilot and a serious deathwish, but it is truly incredible Edit: wish you would overlay info like speed, rotation and g-forces, would be interesting
@@roninone2754 The F-22 is about as maneuverable as it gets for now. Because of its thrust vectoring capability, from an 'air dominance' standpoint, it's the best there is. The F-35, still being (arguably) one of the best multi-role fighters, can't out turn a Raptor, but those two jets are an unstoppable team.
THANK YOU AL LOT for your very inspiring video. It transfers perfectly the quintesseence of aviation: " The call of freedom ". Love it 😍 ! All the best.
The Alps! To be specific, I took off from Geneva, Switzerland; Follow the lake heading east, and then south into the valley. Once you enter the mountains, you can explore from there. Its full of some really fun valleys to surf through.
At super sonic speeds the computer assisted fly by wire slows down your ability to pitch and roll rapidly (the real F-22 computer probably does this to reduce G-forces on the pilot). With this video it looks like your roll rate is pretty fast while super sonic at low altitudes, are you using the option that gives you raw fly by wire control (un-aided by the computer) that takes away thrust vectoring?
Hey! I use Sky Dolly to record the flight. It lets you play flights back in the sim; that way I can focus on flying first, then record my screen with the drone camera.
This is in the Swiss Alps. To follow this video, you can take off from Geneva, fly to the eastern corner of the lake and head southeast into the valley. From there, you can freely explore the mountains. It's one of my favorite places to fly a Jet in the sim.
You're probably right, lol. I can confirm that if your wingtip dips in a little, with crash settings off, it has no effect in the sim. It seems like the hit box that stops the plane is just a few feet under the water. But IRL? Yes, that would be a very wet Raptor..
Really nice. Every time I see the F-22 I think "What a badass plane. It's just too bad it's not the F-23." But... Both were/are before their time. It's crazy 20+ years later it's still top dawg. It's also sad that so few were made. I know costs are an issue but with all of the content and products made around the F-22, surely it justifies and has paid for the associated higher costs. The USAF needs to license its hardware. It doesn't have to cost anything, but they should track how much tax revenue it would have made. The same is true for NASA. How much did Microsoft pay for the rights to use the F-22......$0 I bet, which is fine but they should have to get permission.
Truly incredible, I believe it's not the F-22 but the skill You incorporate within the Simulator.
WOW!!! Dude your control of the aircraft is INSANE!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
I just got to see this beautiful bird in action last weekend it did not disappoint
I got to see it a couple months ago, absolutely stunning

question, which jet would have better manouverability in such a setting? F22 or the F35?
@@roninone2754 I'm pretty sure f22 is better maneuverable

"I'd intercept me"
Bro, this is amazing

All the best.
Wonder if you can find the valleys they actually used in Top Gun Maverick and try doing canyon runs on both of them
It could be one of the challenges as part of the top gun maverick addon
Underrated.
Nice flying!
That big sound is actually his PC fans
😂 Youre right.. my gpu was a space heater while filming this
I think we all wanna see the Canyon Run in this masterpiece
Could you please tell me where you are flying this? I need to try this

@@squalychumboob thamk you!
I would like to ski in the Alps. I just assume this is what it is like. Just in a multi million dollar weapons platform.
Truly the best fighter aircraft of all time.
I think this is the only game that could match the look of the paint and materials of this plane... And Ace Combat too
amazing video

You can turn off the control dampener?
Are you using trim to hit those high AOA movements at faster speeds?
How do you do the thrust vectoring? Incredible flying by the way!
Alps are amazing place to fly! Mate, how you captured the flight? Can't beleve you fly on external camera)

Dude flying this jet
This f22 raptor has produced 70,000 pounds of thrust on takeoff
Awesome video. What location are you flying?
Does thrust vectoring work?
Yup! Just drop the flaps and it will work depending on how fast you're going.
Where is this please

There was a time or two there that your plane should've been sucked straight in to the water. Lol. Your wings Def clipped.

10 bucks you do this in rl
Only thing you can do is fly around like some bird🤣🤣🤣🤣
DCS👉rules😉👍
Yeah it's awful just flying around like some bird
Some say this would be reckless, but in simulation go for it 🫡🫣
Yessir! Crash and fuel settings off.. just send it!
