Same way I play. Outstanding. I learned finger rolls on bongos. Moved to congas and finally djembe.
Great! I´ve never heard somebody playing the Djembe the way you do. It`s very inspiring.
Thanks! :)
this is the greatest I have herd from the djembe players..Thanks for the video
Thanks 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Loved it ... took good advantage of the Remo twang ... reverb ... one of the most creative pieces I have heard on a Remo Djembe
Thanks!

Amazing! Can you tell me which model this djembe is?
Thanks, this should be the 14" Remo djembe.
Very cool!!! Super unusual to play the bass and high at the same time... but with a mic it works well and sound great...

I’m playing an older model 14” Remo djembe. Today, you can buy a
“Remo Djembe DJ-0014-PM African Coll”

Wow! This is really great. Fantastic !!
Nice one.. Keep going.. More beats in future yo
So cool
Awesome
most excellent. I can't decide whether I want to play like or with you.
Hehee, interesting dilemma 😜
Keep posting!
Дядька, ты гений!
Спасибо 🤜🤛
yea
Very nice playing, and finger action. Could you make another teaching vid. But much slower like 55-65 BPM so we can better learn how you transition from groove to well I guess teach us but slow it down so I can learn better and play with fingers more. Great stuff and what basic key is your Djembe tuned in now,so I can tune mine better . Using 14 in mechanical tuned Toca Djembe with goat head and fiberglass shell. Thinking it needs to get a tad higher, but don't want to bust another $30 skin. Rikky
superb, loving it
Different level ❤
Cheers
Very nice! 🌝
amazing !
please ! it is possible to have this riddim slowly ?????
I will write this idea down and make a video about this ✅
Nice 👍🏽
Super!!!!!
WOW
wow!! Amaziiing! :))
Master 😍 i love you 😉
🫠
Similar to how l played as a kid my teacher kamati dinizulu hated it wasn't classic enough for him but was a lot more funky to me sound wise to let the fingers go like bongo playing instead of base tone slaps and pats with full hand
Hope you have more tricks up your sleeves 👊👊👊👊
More tricks coming soon :)
Thank you so much
Masterful can you please confirm model of Djembe
You’ll find the answer under your other question ✅
This guy could play table tennis Master.
Teach me your ways
суперрр!!!
Delighted ...but not easy... workhard
Hi Ian! I was wondering whether some of the advanced fill techniques you performed later in the video were taught in your courses?
Hey! Some, yes. There’s quite a lot happening in the end here, but some elements are the same within the Advanced course and also Drum Set Beats courses 🙂
Hello, I love your music. Is it ok if I use it for my school project? for background drum beats.
Go ahead!
thank you so much!@@DjembeMaster
add this on spotify please!
Great idea! I'll get my artist page on Spotify going again.
Oh my goodness....
anyone know what that double-bass slap thing he's doing is called?
🔥
I'm dancing my butt off!
Ninja
I've watched this a hundred times I still dont understand how you do the very first beat. How are you hitting the drum twice with one hand like that in one motion
You probably mean my right hand which is doing the bass. And these strokes seem to be happening 2 times per 1 movement. You are correct, Sir :) I'll try and make video soon on how this is done!
❤️
sorry to bother but how do you exactly do the muted slap in the rythm? Is it just you hitting with both hands on the drum head or do you mute the drumskin with another part of your hand or even using part of your arm? Thank you in advance
Hey! Check out my video "Using Fingers with the Djembe Drum - Straight Beat" starting at 4:15 😎 There you will see an explanation.
Do you use a metronome while playing the drum?
Nope. This is just playing myself, no metronome 🥳
Now i know why they call you the Master - fantastic
Hello can you put where you got your drum at
I got my Remo djembes from Long & McQuade music store in Toronto (Bloor st) 😎
Thank you so much thank you 😊
How possible do you think these rhythms are on a 10 inch djembe?Ive been trying to play them and i can do the rhythm technicaly but it just sounds weird
10-inch would sound high-pitchy indeed. Doable, but kinda limited space. I find that my right hand may have difficulty fitting to hit the bass with a 10” djembe. An upgrade to at least 12 inches is recommended 😉
@@DjembeMaster ok thank you very much
I would like to see the tabs for this one hahah :DD
How did you remove the ringing of the Remo djembe? Your 14'' sounds great but mine rings like a damn bell.
Interesting... haven’t had to mess around with trying to remove any ringing. What I would probably do in your situation is loosen up the whole instrument and then start again with tightening up the djembe. A ringing might appear if the djembe is tuned up too high.
There should be little fabric circles that came with your remo djembe. You put on of those circles on the underside of the head and it's supposed to reduce overtone and ringing. Remos website should help.
What size djembe is this?
14"
Master! What type of finger technique are you using? Tabla?
Howdy! It might look like it, sure. But for me, it’s just a combination on playing the piano from age 7 and then using fingers to fingerboard since 1998 and also experimenting on a djembe since 2005.
@@DjembeMaster amazing man!
Were the fuck can i buy a djembe like his
www.amazon.com/s?k=remo+mondo+djembe&crid=28K17LBF852FR&sprefix=remo+mondo+djembe%2Caps%2C147&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
Just watched it in 0.25 speed and understood something. But still its fast af even 4 times slower. What kind of sorcery is this
😁
Minchia!!!!!
Hehee 😎
Is that 12'' inch bro?
I’m pretty sure I used my 14” in this video 🤔
90% sure.
@@DjembeMaster Thanks for your answer, Beautiful sound! and Beautiful play :)
Great, but that 's derbouka not djembe. Incredible playing tough.
Don't know - it said "djembe" on the side of the instrument 🤷🏻♂️
Requires lot's of finger dexterity.
