It's not just the octaves. Others can reach wide ranges of octaves....but the quality, variety, control, passion, presence, conviction, creativity, and delivery falls way short of what Dimash does. Dimash is just on another level entirely.
His collaborations with Master composer Igor Krutoy are either excellent or masterpieces. And his own compositions have proven both as well. Dimash is a treasure and a legend for the ages.

it is said that he can reach about 8 octaves(7.7 to be exactly!!) his range is out of this world for sure.... and besides that he also plays instruments, and can sing in 10 languages !! his versatility is absurd! thanks for reacting Dimash, perhaps you could also try another genre like Operatic Rock, such as Nightwish and Epica, the music from Nightwish - Ghost love score live at wacken 2013, or Epica - Unleashed retrospect live are two examples...Unifying those two we have Epica and Floor Jansen( singer from Nightwish) with Sancta Terra and Stabat matter Dolorosa, you should check ir out!!!@@phantasmagoricfate
Dimash is so much more than his voice. Anyone who has ever been to a Dimash concert will tell you that it is his voice, his whole persona, but more than that it is who he is as a person. He is so humble, so down to earth and so warm to his fans. He will come out and be an absolute beast on a song like Olimpico and when it ends, you see the boyish smile break out. He thinks nothing of getting on his knees and bowing to the audience. We have seen him get off the stage (almost always jumps off) and climb over the rail to greet those who are in wheelchairs. We have seen him lay down on his stomach to reach the hand of a fan. Stop and sing happy birthday to a fan, jump and and down with children who managed to get on stage etc. The list is so long. I love all of his songs but the most touching one is Omir which he composed and released in appreciation to his fans on his birthday. It shows clips from his infancy to now.

Dimash is a 29-year-old Kasakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and is completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts, and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He was recently in Los Angeles, USA, working on new material from him that fans of his (he affectionately calls us "darlings") are looking forward to. He is a kind, polite and compassionate person, proud of his culture and his country.

The song Olympico (which became known as Ogni Pietra) was composed by maestro Igor Krutoy, with Italian lyrics by Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and arrangements by Erlan Bekchurin. It was composed specifically for Dimash for the 2019 European Olympic Games. With this song Dimash won, on December 5, 2019, the Victoria award (Russian equivalent of the Grammy) for best singer of the year, in the classical genre ("Best Vocalist in Classical Music").

great reaction, he performed this song for olympics in Minsk 2019. Basically, it's a motivation song with a simple message, "go get your dreams and dont stop half way. yes you can reach it.", thats why he uses a lot of intensity. he won the equivalent of grammy in Russia in classical field with this song.

@@chrisnester2134 I just looked it up and listened to two performances of him singing it, the radio version and the AGT version. I have a musical background (trumpet) and have to say that his tenor voice is really incredible. I'm not too fond of his upper register tone although it was still good and I understand how incredibly difficult it is to sing both parts like that.
Dimash is equally fluent and incredible in all registers which is what makes him stand out as one of the best I've heard in my lifetime (I'm 53 yrs old). I also prefer Dimash's tone in the upper register much more but I tribute that to his opera training he grew up with.

Igor Krutoy, the renowned Ukrainian/Russian music composer, performer, producer, and promoter, came out of retirement after witnessing Dimash's 2018 guest performance of "Sinful Passion" at the New Wave competition. They have frequently corroborated on projects ever since. Igor Krutoy composed this song for Dimash to perform at the opening of the 2nd European Olympic Games in Minsk, Belarus, on June 21, 2019. "Olimpico," or "Ogni Pietra," was performed in Italian by Dimash. Ogni means "every, each, or all," and Pietra means "stone or rock." The song is essentially an address to the athletes, exhorting them to do their best in competition, and urging them to believe in themselves.

Trying to choose a favorite is so difficult as I feel that the last song I listened to, is my favorite most of the time. 🥹🤣😂🤣I love Samaltau (all versions) but the 2 songs I listen to the most on a daily basis are Screaming MV and NeverLand.

What is my favourite? Impossible to choose. I’ve got twenty in my top five lol. He does so many different genres so if I want to dance round the kitchen, I would choose Weekend, If I’m in musical theatre mode, Stranger would be my choice. If I’m feeling in the mood for a sad, song, then Ikenaide would be a good. But Dimash has one to two hundred songs, so every day I can satisfy my musical needs.

I'm trying to give you a suggestion but when I think what's my favourite Dimash song, I cannot think of just one! You definitely have to check out concert versions of Stranger, Screaming from Idol Hits, Passione, Know, his MV are incredible, f.ex. Story of One Sky, Love of Tired Swans, Be With Me... Dimash really is a phenomenon! A once-in-a-lifetime artist who is unique! Have you reacted to Sinful Passion or Love is Like a Dream? Also i love his Kazakh folk songs such as Durduraz, Samaltau, Daididdau and then there is the angelic Ave Maria written for him by Igor Krutoy who wrote Olimpico and Stranger for him.

Just 2 things..The right and only title of the song is Olimpico..Ogni pietra are the words of beginning of the song and have nothing to do with the title of the song..And about Krutoy he had already retired because he was on the back burner and with Dimash he won the lottery,in facts is just thanks to Dimash if Krutoy is now known in most of the world..And is always and only thanks to Dimash if his songs are masterpieces..Without the great master and the one and only Dimash and his divine and unique voice would be just normal songs like many others..For this and other reasons i don't care about Krutoy..I care only about my idol and superhero Dimash..King Angel Dimash Forever

The below negative statements about Igor or sad. Just because America did not know about Igor did not mean he wasn’t known abroad. He produced, composed and collaborated with Lara Fabian and her albums. I didn’t know about Dimash. About 3 years ago at home in the middle of 5 surgeries I found you tube and Dimash. When Igor approached Dimash to this person below do you not think in dimashs part of the Khazakastan between Russia and China and Dimash entering in every singing and instrument contest in his forte that a billionaire producer from Russia that Dimash did not know about this person, Dimash this time being in his doctorate had heard or known about a lot of producers yes in Russia but all over the world. Americas producers want contracts that take away control and the songs written by the singer. Dimash was going to come to American idol. His producer father and he discussed this and Dimash decided on China, the singer. The producers there wanted to control Dimash too, but dimash would have one of it and did things his way there. Those singers there were all professionals. Like them Dimash had control of producing his performance and the first night the first song Sos Dimash was introduced as a producer in his introduction, when Igor introduced himself to Dimash he offered Dimash the choice of 5 of 10 of his songs for dimash to sing. 5 copyrighted songs. One song performance can garner a composer $10,000 depending on where it is used or performed. Then after about sinful passion in Sochi we saw Dimash performing those songs with great performance arts and Igor at the piano. The person below didn’t tell you that Igor wrote Olimpico for Dimash and it’s in Italian… how did Igor a Russian write an aria in Italian. The thumbnail has both their names. Since Igor’s name is here they had to have collabed on the song and if hpigor wrote it and Dimash sang it somebody(?) did the performance art. This was the European Olympic Games. How did about 23 year old Dimash end up singing at the Olympics? There’s a whole board of people that approve of this. Igor had to have something to do with this. And lastly Dimash kept his indepenency from Igor. That had to be the agreement right away when Dimash was approached by Igor. Dimash has done many concerts alone without Igor and many with Igor. The person below acts like Igor isn’t a master. He belittles dimashs taste in music. Dimash in the womb was sang to by his perfessional opera singing mother and his father a pop singer and a producer in his own right. Dimash hired 400 people for his digital concert show in 2021, produced and sang at that solo concert during Covid while I sat healing from my surgeries in my bed and watched his show because he charged $10 for the concert, the only way I could afford it. Igor never deprived Dimash of his producer rights and skills. I’ve seen many Igor Dimash collabs and it’s real they make each other better. The first time I heard Dimash with sos on the singer from 2017, I went straight to wikipedia though not completely reliable I read for two hours. I came to the conclusion that Dimash had a selective problem choosing his songs,. He had to write them, rewrite covers, someone else had to write them, or he had to collab his sons to make use properly with his now 7 octave and 2 semitones that we know of and still not sound like he’s showing off. Do you notice his female parts here do not sound feminine? That he has a beautiful soprano and metso soprano voice that still sounds like dimashs voice. Dimash would not have gone with Igor number one as a partner and mentor if he did not already know his work.in that part of the world their word was alligor a producer used to signing his client did. What an honorable person Dimash is that Dimash could talk a Russian billionaire composer producer into this open relationship where I’m sure finances were discussed two. Dimash is only worth 3 million dollars. He didn’t take much of the deal and Dimash puts his money back into his music with a factory studio where he put on the digital concert show. You’re new so don’t let anyone convince you less of Igor’s value. He’s just not in America. Dimash is in California recently going back to China. Dimash has met David foster with Igor. David is a producer many famous singers back to some of Whitney and Mariah’s stuff. Loved your reaction.
