Nice ride. Real hard enduro. Some show gravel roads and call it hard enduro. Are you happy with the low end torque? I was trying (and was unable) to see whether you were using the clutch lever a lot.
Pimpon La Lurette yes theres some fast open single tracks mixed in with more technical riding, yes but only because I’ve put a after market muffler on and used the power tuner to give it a bottom end torque map, other wise it stalls pretty easily on ur “ slow gravel roads”
How about a 6'1 200lbs rider. I ride mostly single track and I like the luggability of the 300 2t but the yamaha wr bikes have my attention. Would the wr250f be to small for me?
Chris sahlstrom It’s a tall bike I’m 6ft and the weights no problem, would highly recommend a aftermarket muffler, the stock one has no low down power and helps through the whole rev range and if you like luggability like myself there’s and map for that through the power tuner
Can't decide between the '20 250f or 450f.. Been a few years since I've ridden but my TE450 was a handful and really heavy.. I'm only 70kg. 250 seems to struggle and really need to utilise to clutch and RPMs but 450 just chugs through.. So hard to choose!
I’m 70kg too and yes my 2018 wr250f wasn’t great with the stock muffler gave no bottom end power at all was terrible but after the first ride I put a akro muffler on which helped through the whole rev range and especially the bottom end then used the power tuner to give it more bottom end torque for more technical riding and now it’s great and the 2020 is even more aggressive, with the stock tune and sprockets the 250 got to 150kmh with a bike with a GPS riding next to me (my speedo was 11kmh fast) so it plenty fast and just the last month I got a 2 teeth bigger back sprocket and it’s seriously aggressive when Reving hard even with the detuned tune I use. Have riden a 2019 wr450 and with the stock pipe it’s got nice linear power and still enough to pop the front at 2/3’s throttle in any gear but can notice the extra weight
@@troyza450 weight and height are big deals. Your videos are a great example of what some experience and balls can do on a 250. You dont seem to have any issues popping that front wheel when you need to. Making me lean towards the 250! Whiskey throttle is a scary thing for a casual like me haha.
@@orobos-v thanks mate,, know what you mean I suffered from a little whiskey throttle when riding a mates 300 2 stroke a little too much power for me when your worn out

@@jesseleblanc989 no worries, works best with a after market muffler, the standard WR muffler is terrible for low down power. I’m also using a 52t sprocket

nice to find some wr250F footage!
Nice riding mate, showing those 2 bangers the way 👍
ktmhaka trying to haha thanks mate!
Love the vids I'm getting a wr250f soon currently on a 16 cr125
Josh Broad cheers mate, oh mad!
I was looking at a yz125 but I think I’m gonna hold off on that and get a wr250f because it’s street legal
Dawkin Schmidt yea as cool as a 125 would be having road reg is so handy and important for me
Yep and anyway I can save up and get a 125 anytime cause they are cheap and when I do I’ll probably have something to haul it around with
What do you mean. Honda didnt make cr125 at 2016

@Jim Jenkins nah no stalling was involved lol

Four strokes lug FAR better. They also make more torque.
