  • We're kicking off in north-west Tasmania, exploring some of the state's less visited highlights.
After a slow start to our Tasmania adventures, sorting out a cracked windscreen and some life admin, we set off in search of Stanley. This incredible and awe-inspiring geological feature is impossible to miss on the horizon.
Stanley makes the perfect base to explore and take some time to sit back and soak in the Tasmanian summer.
Camps we stayed at in this episode:

Really enjoyed Stanley and the Nut. Also the historic house with details of how the convicts were so badly treated and the indigenous people persecuted.
And we camped in the Tarkine and visited the End of the World.

My back yard as I am a resident of Ulverstone. Love Stanley first stop in our 1986 Tassie venture but a regular weekend getaway including when in 1993/4 when we hosted a Japanese Student Teacher and during the near the end of lockdown when we could not venture to the big island Thanks for uploading.

I just found your family on RUclips when you caught the ferry from Geelong. I live in Devonport and I love Tassie. Its a compact place with so much to see. I do photography and travel all over the place when not at work. I have started watching your vlogs from the beginning. If you get a chance we have limestone caves,3 in the North West and one in the South- they are very special. Another place I love is Mt. Field National Park- when there also go to the Gordon River dam (camp at Teds Beach) ,and take Scotts Peak Road out beside Lake Pedda- its spectacular and there is camping at all these places.

Just found your chanel and crossing in the spirit, clicked on straight away because have often wondered what it's like......and I've lived here most of my life🙄 but have left the state, at least once😉. Thanks for all the time and effort you put in to these videos, they will help with travel that I'll do here myself, awesome chanel, take care on the roads and love to run into you somewhere, head down to Sorell and further and stop in at Dodges Ferry get down to Park or Carlton beach, it's one long beach with good parking especially at Carlton beach with a caravan but it's one long beach with Park beach up the other end.👍👍

Truwatta is such a magical place, I did it in 2019 and there were no paths just triangles that you had to follow and hope no one had turned them around, it was a land of moss covered rainforest. So watching you guys walk it how different it is. Great video. Cheers Judy
