- How's it going everyone? It's been a stressful few months with school, but it's almost over! TOP doing all this new music has been the greatest motivation the last week or so, and it's really inspiring me to create more again. So much so that I have been working on a little project...it may or may not rhyme with FlurryPace Deadly but you didn't hear that from me! Lol in all seriousness though, I'm super stoked for Scaled and Icy and I can't wait to see what the boys have in store for us. Hopefully see you all relatively soon!

Aw I have never had someone ask me to sing on a non-singing vid before! :) I can play around with it and maybe see if I can get something going / the confidence to upload it, but it's nice knowing that at least one person would like to see that. Thank you!!

How long does it take you to practice a song like this? it's incredible how fast you've done this :D do you just see that there's a new song and sit yourself at the piano right away? :D
You pretty much got it dead on lol, I started working on this cover probably within an hour of the the song releasing. This song in particular was a little trickier because of the faster tempo and a lot of little details, so I’d say it maybe took me 5-6 hours to fully get down

This looks so fun to play, especially that one part at 3:06 , I might have to figure out to play this sometime.
Haha yeah I had just been improvising with those chords at the end for fun, and then one playthrough I did that and kept it in. I'm never the greatest at playing fast runs or things like that, so I saw an opportunity to "show off" and I took it lol. But yes, it is a fun song to play!
How long did this take you to compose?
I started working on it the hour it came out lol. I'd say I probably had 90% of it figured out in about 5-6 hours of work overall. My main thing was finding the time where I could record the whole thing smoothly in one take

@@legotroop236 Thank you! Yeah I’m a Blurryface era fan too so that time matches up. And yeah, some covers definitely take longer than others. I’d say this one is actually a little on the longer side for me nowadays. There’s a lot of little details throughout that I wanted to make sure got represented and such
