the trick is to wait till a day or 2 after and all the halloween candy is on sale. same thing with christmas. remember getting bags of christmas candy that are normally 20dkk(3-4usd) for 5dkk(about 1 usd)

Was really looking forward to getting trick-or-treaters for the first time ever this year now that I finally have my own house. Got a huge bowl of Reecess, Kit Kat, Starburst, and other goodies. No one showed up 😢 Pain dayo
I live in retirement home. I don't believe anyone would come by any knock on my door anyway. CVS always have sale on candy . It like 50 - 75 percent off usely in November 1 to 3rd.
Here in the UK everyone waits until after Halloween ends so sweets become ridiculously cheap all because they have Halloween themed branding and designs on them. Similar story with Easter and Christmas
@@Sora_SlimeCat usually yes, but there's also a sweet spot that if for whatever reason the halloween candy doesn't sell by the time they need to start putting thanksgiving/christmas items up you might notice them aggressively discounting candy.
@@kaz7886 Yep, if they throw it away they have to pay for disposal, that's why it is a lot cheaper to have customers carry it out the doors. I have seen even stuff marked down to a few cents. Chocolate bunnies/santas mostly. Cheapest chocolate you can buy over the entire year by the kilo. Of course this is not reliable as the guy just in front of you might clear the shelf. But usually the stuff is available for that insanely low price for a few days in rapidly dwindling quantities.
@@Sora_SlimeCat Not always. They're buying more inventory than normal to prepare for the Holiday. There's also stuff in seasonal packaging, larger packs than usual, fun size, holloween images on it, and it'll occupy more shelving space than usual. After the Holiday, they gotta dump it and dump it fast to make room for Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff. The seasonal stuff in stores will go on flash sale, excessive amounts kept in warehouses or still unpacked in the store will be sent to liquidation or be thrown out.
Henya was on point with the discount. Right after Halloween is the cheapest time of the year to buy candy. Valentine's period being the most expensive.
i think henya mixed the dates, candy becomes cheaper AFTER halloween, not during, because stores wanna get rid of all that extra candy that wasn't sold.
I agree with Henya. Buy candy for yourself and only yourself. Only beggars walk around asking for candy. And only creeps give out candy. Signed: neither a US citizen or celticly inclined
@@wrpen99 But the English are mostly Germanic, being Anglo-Saxon and Norman. To my knowledge Germanic culture did not have a "celebration" similar to Halloween. It's probably specifically a Celtic inheritance. So we need to blame the Irish or the Scots most likely.
I love that Henya goes full Gollum mode with her candy
Dont touch the reeses
More like Smaug.
My Reese’s….
Henya is literally the sweetest vtuber and I love how pippa still calls her dumb. Cute
Good luck separating Henya's Reeses' from her. XD
0of it's only a discount when Halloween is over
After holiday shopping is the best for candy, especially Valentine's, Easter, and Halloween.
@@BlissfullWulf I agree 👍 💯 that's why I'll be buying some tomorrow
It's all gone already replaced by Christmas stuff
@partyshoes2917 I mean your not wrong but I'm still going to go look out for some candy

Oof dayo :( I've been noticing a steady decline in trick-or-treaters for a long time, maybe kids are too shy to go asking for candy? 🤔
More like parents are more paranoid and people do more stuff like trunk or treats.
Covid happened, it killed Halloween.
well, now you got snacks for the year!
That sucks that was me last year

I never thought I would see Henya and Pippa as a Duo. Kinda opposites.
Pippa was the only one with the balls to defend her when the hate mob came for her before Isekai.
Kinda, but that also gives them amazing chemistry imo!
Not really both introvert mentally ill women

Looks like Pipkin has been taking her meds.
Halloween candy only goes on sale after Halloween.
Society lies to us all...
...dayo...
Yup, the best time to buy is immediately after christmas, easter etc. When the stores want to get rid of the event stuff.
if there's normally an upcharge, wouldn't they just put it back to normal price and label it as discounted from the normal upcharged price?

Guess you could say she tricked herself.
Pippa is already really good at shattering Henya's worldview, I can't wait til she starts hemorrhaging conspiracy theories at her 😆
We do live in a society!
Henya really is a genius! 😂❤
Poor Henya. She only just now realized that she already reaped the karma for her actions since way back then.
All the Halloween candy gets cheap once you hit November. Buy yours today!

Supply and dayo.
We give out candy what remains is ours
henny the "super genius" everybody
The discount comes after halloween.
I remember when I used to think Pippa and old Henya were the same person. They couldn't be more different 😀
The discount is after.... and black friday is the cheapest day to buy a turkey.
Wait till the week after Halloween, THEN there's a discount.
You never buy candy and goods before events you buy after, the day after Halloween/Valentines Day/etc. is when you get the cheapest treats.
imagine depriving a child of candy...
You wait to buy it for yourself until its all discounted the night of or day after. Poor Henya...
the day after halloween is the cheap day
$50 didn't go far this year but i ran out of candy best Halloween the neighborhood in a long time
Alternate title: "Henya learns about the sins of capitalism on holidays" lol
Someone needs to tell her about after Halloween and after Christmas sales.
The discounts come after valentines and after Halloween

The discount is today, lol, she's got the right spirit but the wrong day
Henya keeps all the Reese's. Gives away Mentos. 👍
I mean you don't _have_ _to_ give it to them
What you gotta do is buy the candy 50% off the day after Halloween. You can get $30 worth of candy for $15.
She learned the truth, but at what cost?
Her voice changed
I agree with Pippa however I live in the middle of nowhere so I also agree with henya 😈
No candy is alot cheaper on halloween lol for a huge bag its 20$ instead of 1-5 for one bar and 20$ for a bag of like 5-10 peices lol
America vs the rest of the world
This sounds like an American thing
DUMB?! That's a *_genius_* move, those little turds can ask for candy at some other house this candy is mine
