I went to Namekagon when I was a kid and had a heck of a time saying the city name correctly. It basically always came out as Name-ka-gone lol. I'm even part Native American but it's only on my dad's side so I never grew up around other people of my tribe.. only my grandfather did a little. But, even then...they were still really integrated into the rest of the community. The most he did was go to a school with other native kids when he was a kid up until he was maybe a teenager.
