I agree if you don’t like a tv you shouldn’t have one in the living room area like myself, you did a great job we all like different there is no right or wrong way it’s whomever place it is, should be done to each individual liking.

I am with you on that ceiling fan thing. I have studied architecture so interior design like in my head bud. After moving to Texas. I can’t get rid of the ceiling fans for aesthetics because it’s hot. I thought about what maybe I’ll just have a fan on the side and I still have a cute light in the ceiling. No, sometimes you just need to get rid of that heat and humidity to sit at the top of the ceiling stuck Like it’s has 3 M tape on it. So the ceiling fan stay or get replaced for a better looking ceiling fans eventually.

I would be very happy about that... like very happy! That is one of my favorite stores and I can only buy one thing a year from them, if I save accordingly.

LOL this episode was HILARIOUS and insightful. I agree with your perception of open closets, but it's because they always make me feel like there's something to do or organize... I like Frame TVs, but artwork over it seems like a better idea. Can't wait to see what you'll show us in the New Year. Happy Holidays!

I live in San Antonio and I have 8’ ceiling. With fans it is just to low loooking so I took them out. The difference was incredible. Definitely worth it. Floor fans work great for us

Aye! For the ceiling fan! My unpopular opinion:
I am displeased with having a toilet next to the tub. I prefer a water closet!
I am opposed to having a shower tub combination! And if I had to choose, I’d choose a shower over a bathtub!

I have to agree with each and every item you spoke about. Are ceiling fans pretty, of course not. If you live where I do and summers are 110 and higher every day, they become gorgeous! Frame TV’s; I wanted to buy a beautiful painting that was approximately $3K. Expensive yes. It was for my formal dining room focus wall. My hubs said, “Let’s buy a frame tv and put it there instead!” #1. Who is watching tv while having guests over for dinner? 2. I’m not paying the electric bill for a picture to hang on the wall! Plus that would use up the lifespan of the electronics!. If I want a painting, just buy a painting! Men! It has to be electronic or have a powerful motor 😂

I disagreed with you on the framing of the TV's. I like it because our Samsungs have a firestick and it has a photo option that we use often to display pics of our choice. At times my husband and I reminisce on those pics and the framing looks nice to me. Side note, I don't have one at this time and plan on having my husband create a unique one for us.
As for the ceiling fans, YES!!! They are a must have for me. I am NOT a fan of those ceiling fans/light combinations where the fan comes down and spins. OMG, I dislike that look with a passion!
Anywho, appreciate the video. You are funny (keep it PG had me rolling inside).

okay gurl… let’s talk about it right quick…
ceiling fans? yes ma’am. i live in houston, and they’re essential for this climate. they don’t have to be in every room, but they’re a must have in bedrooms. more cost friendly to your electric bill, and one can find really cool modern looking ones as opposed to those horrible home depot builder grade styles.
tv as focal point? grey area. for some (self included) it’s about encouraging conversation and not making it all about the tv (even in a smaller apartment sized living rooms) thereby not having it front and center. home owners like sarah wisted (whose minimal aesthetic i love) are lucky enough to have a separate family room where it can be the focal point.
frame tv’s? they’re most effective when incorporated into an actual gallery wall and can look really awesome. as a stand alone though, it’s kind of a waste of money.
    ❤️ your style. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

i have upgraded and renovated rentals in the passed. ... I have upgraded paint...closets.... added walls even......never have they made me rip anything out. .... Today, I am addicted to buying real estate. it is the biggest rush ever closing on a deal. I wish I could teach a course on how to get your feet wet with little money down..made some mistakes...picked bad locations...even lost every ting in 2008...but on house #5...never looking back. My BFF has over 100 k in her 401k...my real estate portfolio is my 401K. She doesn't want to take the risk... i say park your money in RE. ON the note on someone hitting a lick on my Chanel.... girl it be the ones you trust most
