At first, when I turned on this video, I thought, “She’s not talking about anything,” and I almost turned it off. But I kept listening and realized that the reason I wanted to turn it off was exactly why I should’ve stayed tuned in. This resonates with how I’ve been feeling, and this must be confirmation. I want my husband to meet me in my purpose, not just sit around waiting for him. I believe there’s so much more I should be doing at my church than just attending on Sabbath and leaving. When I look back on my time as a single person, I want to say, “Wow, I accomplished a lot while I was single saved, rather than thinking I was a lot more adventurous and ambitious when I single and worldly.” I truly appreciate this video because you’re completely right. I’ve been asking the Lord to help me find my own business to mind-I'm ready for that! LOL.

This came at just the right time! I haven’t actively dated/been looking for anyone in a long time and I’ve also been studying for the LSAT and working a lot. My friends are telling me I should have more fun and go meet someone new but I’ve had a strong feeling that I’m just not going to meet who God has for me unless I continue to pursue my goals and live in my purpose. Well, if you are wanting to get married, an excellent prayer to pray is to ask God to shape and mode you into the kind of person worthy enough, so that the LORD can trust you and send you one of HIs sons or daughters for marriage. God will not send you one of His sons or daughters if He knows that you are not emotionally or mentally ready to date them. So, ask God to change you into the person that is special enough to date His children
This was good Amani! I’ve been saying this for a while now that I want to be focus and faithful in my undivided attention for the Lord. Once the husband, family comes it’s a whole load so I’m so grateful for this time to just be focused on what God is doing in me and through me.

Wow! I found this video ON TIME! Just last night I was getting so down on myself because when I go out no one ever approaches me and tbh I never been a very big “men centered” woman. But as I’m getting older (and receiving more pressure) I started to notice that it’s like this invisible vail over me. But I got this revelation a while ago that God is just keeping me hidden! Thank you for reminding me and others just to live their life! God is in control.
I haven’t been dating or actively dating either. I’m in my 30s and I have had my ups and downs. More downs than up. Men don’t approach me at all. I kept on going back to my ex but I finally had to let him go. I have been single for years. I am single and grieving the loss of my grandmother. People think I am boring because all I do is work and go to school. I am doing the best I can to get out of the teaching field and taking my pre reqs before applying to nursing school. Because I want better for myself. I feel like I have settled for less in life. And during my single season God hasn’t blessed me with someone. So my relationship with God we not tight. I am just so angry with him. I have been so depressed with life. Not sure how to climb out you all. 😢
I remember a time in my life where I thought that God was unfair to me because I was displeased with myself and my life. I basically blamed Him for everything because I said if He knew I would turn out how I did then it was His fault for making me. Years of depression and hating myself made me feel hopeless to the point that I had no choice but to start actually looking to Him to help me and change me so I wouldn’t feel miserable anymore and slowly I began to shift from being depressed to being thankful and desiring to be closer to God than anyone else. I love Him now with all my heart, soul, and strength and fear Him with trembling. I don’t know your specific situation obviously but I relate to your feelings, I pray you start to see how much God loves you and to relate to Him like your closest relative! He’s the only One who can and wants to make your life as it should be.

Hello this video is very informative. I should mention though please check out the year of the bride fast again. The focus is not praying for a husband it's about preparing ourselves as the bride of Christ. The praying for a husband part is just a secondary aspect. Unless I misunderstood. I should mention I am in agreement with what you said about living in purpose and not focus on the husband part, I am 31 this year and that's an aspect of my life I am currently working on in my single season. I want to build the aspects of my life that build me up into the woman he wants me to be. Thank you for guidance on how best to go about it.

Sis I am a single mom and my kid is in another country I idolized marriage and thank you for this video! I now have a new sense of purpose in my single season... and before seeing this video I've been listening to other church sermons because ever since I became a believer I kid you not but I have been having more spiritual attacks so on my idle time I listen to worship or sermons to keep the demon away
I really enjoyed this video and you hit the nail right on the head. But as a point of clarification, the Year of the bride fast did not focus on marriage to a man but to God who is our bridegroom and our first husband. And she made it clear that everyone wouldn’t get married and marriage isn’t for everyone. The entire fast was about repentance, breaking generational bloodline curses and killing idolatry. It’s very important to base things off of what was stated instead of assumptions.
Thank you! GOD always prepares us for HIM. We are prepared to become Christ's Bride at eternity. Even the seeds sown in us throughout our lives are primarily for that purpose. Your husband, when he comes, will benefit from that preparation, but he was not the primary reason God was preparing us, anyway.

It's 25 days of inner healing and deliverance of "self". Tearing down idols, ancestral altars, and covenants. It was also about getting women out of the mindset of idolising marriage. Lastly, I say this out of love as a fellow sister in Christ. Please repent, and do not speak into the atmosphere, that "A lot of y'all won't get married". Those who are called to singleness as a gift from God will already have that confirmation, but to speak that word curse over people out of emotion/feelings/and self logic is not biblical. Also, there are many false prophets that don’t always go strictly to the word. Bc most churches practice pagan beliefs that Yahuah feels is an abomination such as holidays and acceptance of certain things that’s not right

The issue for me is almost every church I’ve been to where I live is corrupt. They are either cult like, money hungry or full of false prophets 😔
