Bro you doing great, I have some plans and ideas that I think with your support we can use it to transform Tadi, I know you are very busy but I would be glad to get in touch with you to discuss it.
Well if I may give a clue, Accra is been noted for Government business and interterinment, Kumasi is been noted for culture and business, Tadi is also been noted for Oil and interterinment, we could take advantage of that, and how do we do it.
I have a plan and I need to sit-down with you to discuss it.
Wode Maya!!! The one and only village son 😂😂❤️Your complete belief in the African continent pushed me to make the move . Now I am doing my part to encourage someone that they too will be alright in the motherland ❤️❤️
A big thank you to Wode Maya for acknowledging our own Kaya's Gogo! 💪🏾🇿🇼 She's really motivating us to make the move back home.
Mambo! Also it is a Swahili word, you got love from Tanzania

Stumbled across your film by accident and very enjoyable. If you're ever passing Riverside school I would love to see it now (assuming it still exists) . Many happy childhood memories, thank you.

Thanks for sharing. It looked like it was a crisp morning whilst you were picking stones. The plant is called "Sansevieria" or Snake plant but I can't confirm whether it actually repels snakes. They are water-wise plants though.
Sanssevieria what a fancy name lol. Thank you for sharing that name. The morning was beautiful, quite warm actually for that time of the year.
I was born here in 1981. Lived in South Africa for 40 years currently
Wonderful
Ascot my home town
Glad to have taken you home
Looks like it was very 🥶
Not at all my sister. Winter here is just a word kkk There is no chando here.
@@KayasGogo Gweru ndiyoka inoita mbiri yechando.

Lots of memories
I now stay in Bulawayo but I'm from Chipinge
Welcome family. Thank you for subbing. Gweru has fond memories for me too. Maybe we will bump into each other in the city of Kings and Queens
@@KayasGogo yes yes yes 😍
Gogo I'm shocked how run down Gweru looks...very sad. Its motto was "City of Progress" surely that can't still be the "city's" motto. Thanks for sharing your trip. Please include prices next trip..like accommodation and bus fares, thanks😊
Real sad to see the streets of this small town so worn out yes. Yet there is hope, most things are easily fixable. I hope to see these cities showing regeneration in my lifetime. Eagleliner bus fare Bulawayo to Gweru is $10. The lodge was $100 per night
@@KayasGogo Great to hear your optimism I sure hope so. I watched a video from Mr Zim he was in Marondera a few months ago and the town looked really good, seems some councils are more serious than others. Thank you for the prices.. bus fare is reasonable but the accommodation seems a bit too dear😲 how is the landscaping of your garden going? Btw that plant you were getting in Gweru is called "mother inlaws tongue" apparently because it looks sharp and fiery 😂😂😂😂
Huh u passed by my place next time u go to Lundi Park pass by St Anne road they are top of the range houses
Tawanda, I will do that for you the next time I go to Lundi Park
I grew up in Gweru, it has chaged so much. Its much more dirtier, grass kutadza kucheka here nhai. My first girlfriend after form 4 was from mambo. Taiona bhora, pisa pisa
Gweru is in bad need of repairs 😞
Yes that plant is called the 🐍 plant. It will be handy at your home.
Indeed. This winter the sightings of those crawlies was a bit much
Shame it is so run down, can't remember this town
Great. It's been a long time since I visited Bulawayo. Would you recommend someone to visit at this time? What's the best time of year to visit?
Best time to come, mmm tough question. Any time is good. Winter is really mild and lots of fruits in the Summer
My mother grew up in Mambo
I was in Gweru pretty much every school holiday in my primary school years
All I know about Gweru are the bitter winters aka chando cheGweru and the bus terminus with some… umm not so clean toilets.
The winters are still cold e Gwelutshena. There is a new renkini , not sure how clean the toilets are, haven't ventured
Aah Kaya Gogo you didn't take Bristol road l wanted to see ZimCast Zim Alloys 🙆🙆
Aaaw, the next visit I will pass through
@@KayasGogo great
My home city Gweru

City of progress ha 😢
Hoping to see some forward looking development in my lifetime
Am here because of maya
Welcome
Wow, do you live in Gweru? I would love to find some who is willing to do a drive through like this in the old street i lived in Dodger grey road now called park lane (according to google maps) do you know anyone you could help me? xx
I go to Gweru often. I will drive by. What's the suburb called?
@@KayasGogo thank you so much. You very kind, its in Athlone dr, in the 90s the house address was 75 Dodger grey road, but i looked on google maps, and the street seems to be called park lane now so not sure what the new number is. as you turn into park lane , there is a small field on the left, houses on the right, before the road bends is the house i grew up in with, its the second last house in the row then round the corner on the left is the old children home, i was born there :-) I also went to riverside school. X thank you so much! Xx
@sunny_side_up, I promise you, I will take you to the neighborhood on my next Gweru visit💖
@@KayasGogo OMG, you are so so kind. Yipie! xxxxx
Ok the city bosses need to be FIRED! This is terrible. Wow this is pathetic!
Gweru needs a major renovation. It is possible
