It makes sense, though. Anya's only 4 or 5 years old and doesn't really understand any concept of romance unless clearly laid out (like when she says Loid and Yor are flirting or for Fiona). Also, Damian himself is constantly denying it to himself and being mean to her, so Anya would have no belief its because he has a crush on her. We also see a lot that Anya often misinterprets or takes things literally when reading minds, which again makes sense as she's 4 or 5. If she were older, she'd definitely be more aware, but Endo was smart, and by making her 4/5, it hinders her social understanding.
I'd assume that's because Damian has no idea about his crush on her. He just feels things and can't admit it and put it together into a thought that she could read.
That’s because it’s well written. Anya is telepathic, but not really precocious. She has very limited understanding of what she reads. That’s what makes it so much fun.
This Episode was quite the Sweet Treat Especially that little Sprinkle of mentioning Garden - Fun fact the former royal chef is named Pierre Pommier which in French it means "Apple Tree Stone”
I find it really interesting that Anya knows the language. There is a lot of serious stuff going on in the background. Im really interested in the lore. Cute show, love it.
Despite the filler-ish nature, I feel that they're definitely casually dropping really important plot points and then sugarcoat them with distractions. Definitely keep an eye for them.
It's not even filler-ish.. All of these stuff is in the manga! And there are A LOT more silly stuff that will happen.. This show has some serious and epic moments (I cant wait for a certain backstory) but lets not forget that this is also a comedy xD

Some shows like Super Sentai and Power Rangers would have fillerish episodes; episodes that has no impact to the main plot of the series.
As a creator, I feel for Franky. Finding out he never had a shot was bad enough, but to put your heart and soul into creating something for 10 years and lose it all in 10 seconds...ouch
Huh, this was surprising, I was initially expecting this Episode to cover just One Chapter with maybe just some Short Chapter or Anime Original Story alongside it, since that is what the Last Episode did, but no this Episode actually covered Two Full-on Chapters, one of which being the First Chapter of the Next Arc which is also the Major Arc of this Season, I wasn’t expecting that. But anyway, from now we’ll be going through the Longest Arc of the Manga so far, The Cruise Adventure Arc, it’s time to see this Family’s Bond Put to the Test and see how well the Anime is going to Cover it.
