Hi Tony, nice find on the Fright Night documentary, the run time is 350 minuets. It’s always rewarding when you can track down the rare ones. Cool you’ve completed your Italian collection, oddly enough I also have Attack Of The Adult Babies with the slip. 🤣 Enter The Void looks like a comprehensive edition. That X-Files Steelbook is a thing of beauty, big fan of the show and films. The Vanishing is a great movie, have you seen the remake? Nice one mate👍😀👍
As nice as those Synapse steelbooks are, I just can't justify spending $50 plus on them. You're essentially paying double for the packaging and a soundtrack CD. I bought one of them, then they announced the standard edition (which I would've much rather have gotten instead). O' well... nice pickups regardless! Edit: Just an fyi, if you want to get the complete collection of the X-Files on blu-ray, buy the German edition. It's region free, and much cheaper than the OOP sets you find from other countries

There is an interview with Sluizer, the Director of the Vanishing, where he states that Stanley Kubrick got in touch with him after he saw the Vanishing and he said it was the most terrifying film he had ever seen! High praise indeed!

That’s a beautiful edition of Tombs of the Blind Dead. I really need to see that Fright Night documentary. I wasn’t keen on Girl’s Nite Out but it’s a really nice release. Moritoris is ok. The Vanishing has one of the most disturbing endings ever. Don’t Breathe is excellent. Great stuff, mate

Girls Nite Out isn't too bad, it's definitely watchable and has it's moments and it's got one of the best cover arts I've seen all year. But that Blind Dead steelbook just looks phenomenal! 😍 I actually enjoyed the Vanishing remake over the original....I'm very much in the minority on that though lol! 😅
Banging haul there mate 👌 The bad guy in The Vanishing is my favourite ever portrayal of a nut job , the guys an absolute psychopath. Scares the shit out of me. The X Files steelbook is nice aswell, always watch the show in the day on Disney+ That Moriturus looks heavy man. Great vid bro👍
Another great haul there, Mr Tony. Death Laid An Egg is an above average giallo and though lesser known is notable for starring the famous French actor Jean Louis Trintignant who sadly died only last week. The Vanishing is a top film as well though, as is often the case, the 1993 remake (which was directed by the same guy who directed the original) was grossly inferior despite starring Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland and Sandra Bullock and far less effective with a handful of narrative changes and a silly Hollywood ending that lacked the chills of the original. Anyway, good to hear from you again and hope the heat is treating you better than me! Not had the concentration to watch much lately but I picked up the recent release of Stone, which I’d recommend if you’ve not seen it. Look after yourself and I’ll be in touch again (and hopefully cooler) soon!
