Defense is good but slips up big time on some plays. Plus they take forever to get the sack. QB pressure doesn't mean anything if you can't get the sack.
When they took Kenyon Green out of the game and put in Jared Patterson, the Texans marched down the field and Mixon scored his TD. Patterson was then concussed, and Green came back in. Greene immediately gave up pressure. I think with Green off the O-line, it would be much better.
One thing is for certain. The playcalling has to get better as well as the OL pass pro. CJs been great considering he’s operating on a lot of 3rd downs
I think twice we were in the red zone and ended up having to go for field goals and one fumble within 10 years for touchdown so we left a lot of points off the board. Kind of been like that all season
You explained Richardson stat line then the score and how weird that is, the week before CJ had less than 100 yard and loss by a field goal. But I think it’s play calling, bottom line.
Texans are winning close games just like half of the league including KC, the objective is to win, not win by 30 every week. The advantage Texans has is they know how to play close games those the games that are played in the playoffs
I think it's a mix of O-line pass block being terrible and influencing CJ's rhythm. There is some plays I believe CJ should be able to read and get the ball out quicker.
Yeah, and get intercepted like he did against the Bills. Bobby Slowik's plays need to build up in order for them to work. He doesn't call plays that require the ball to come out fast. Also, DCs have caught on to Slowik's play style, so things have become much harder for them.
@@tyrelljohnson6901 I’m not saying to force it out quicker but adjust the play designs to develop quicker since our o-line can’t block for more than 3 seconds. I was at the Colts game and I questioned some of the throws CJ made, there was a few plays receiver(s) were open but either he was under pressure or his mental clock to get rid off the ball went off and he would dump it short.
They arent even doing anything good in the run either… Mixon just makes them look good.. Google it.. Mixon average 2 yards before contact.. meaning the line isnt blocking good enough hes doing it all himself. By breaking tackles.
Take Texans fan’s criticism of Slowik with a grain of salt….a lot of plays are just not executed correctly by the players and it’s soooooo close like 1 missed block away type of close from being “oh he’s a genius”
Cj is playing well but the Texans are winning because if the defense

@@rogeliosoto6953the defense lockdown Josh Allen
Keep doing what your doing Htown Texans there will always be haters 👊🏾
We are not winning because of CJ we are winning because of the Defense

Say they are winning due to Mixon and the defense more so than just CJ
For the o line to be this bad and their 6/2 shows how good this team really is

@@M0.isesLara CJ doesn't call plays brother, that's bobby slowik.
@@tyrelljohnson6901 I never said CJ calls the plays.
@@M0.isesLara you never said it but you surely was trying to insinuate it.
Idk what it is, which is scary because how will it get fixed
still waiting to see a game where the texans as a team play complimentary football
They did it was against the Pats, I wanna see it against a good team

the jets are getting destroyed
Defensively yes. Oline play and offense no
Play calling at end of games is hideous. Trying to lose games.
