well, if you were the mom, and you saw your step daughter's creepy drawings, then the next day found your real daughter's hand burned from a simple quarrel with said step daughter, then get you real daughter die after playing outside with step daughter, you'd probably say the same things that the step mom said.
I have a difficult time understanding certain emotions in certain situations, but this literally flowed into my soul and if i only had a video of my facial expression throughout, just a masterpiece in everyway. I have never seen animation done with so many different tools (i have a background in visual effects and game development). They really outdid themselves with this one.
God, this cinematic just rips your heart out and puts it in a blender..... Doesn't help that each frame is a beautiful piece of artwork. Really messes with your emotions, just like any masterpiece. Anybody watch The Boy in the Striped Pajamas? That's another ending that really sticks with you.
But srsly tho another really tragic ending is the mist if you haven't seen it you should go watch it technically the whole movie is horror but the ending is tear inducing

All of Annie’s power comes from strong negative emotions from the anger of daisy stealing her toy to her fear when daisy slipped. And the power seems to be inflated by the bear. Poor little bean

But she shouldn’t have messed around with that bear that *clearly* had something freaky going on...

Annie's lore is actually quite deep. Annies mom is one of the child soldier being trained by leblanc to be possessed by tibbers(a demon). Annies mom ran away and met his husband. Annies mom felt that the black rose(leblanc) is closing in on her so she ran away and gave tibbers(demon) to protect her. Her dad remarried and from this video they died. Annie is now alone and was found by the black rose and became a student not knowing thay one of their demons(tibbers) is with her. She met other students and she burned the whole place down and has a better grasp on her powers. I've read them on legends of runeterra
So, Daisy died and later manifested in becoming Ivern's ultimate. interesting... that's why annie ult and ivern's ult are so similiar. THEY ARE CONNECTED!
This is the most impressive cinemathic. That was pure art, the soundtrack, the metaforas, the voices, absolutely everything. I come every 2 or 3 months to remember this amazing piece of art and just watch how it brings me to tears quickly. Also Annie was my main character for so long

Going through horrible depression now, and an equally horrible childhood, this just rips my heart to shreds. "Why Annie?" She never meant to do anything wrong. She cannot control her feelings. When she comes to in her room with flames around her, she has no idea. I don't know how many times I've woken up surrounded by horrible things I've done while angry. Except, I never had someone to console me, or save me. I'm just filled with white hot rage. This video moves me so much.
It's sad cause Annie's step mom thought she was an evil kid based on drawings. When in Annie's mind she needed to draw to understand death and that not everyone you love will live. She wasn't trying to say that she will kill everyone, she just doesn't know how to control her powers yet.
I imagine this is how a few..other people feel in the real world. But unlike Annie, they have nowhere to go, or anywhere to run. Regardless, this is really heartbreaking. Imagne having to deal with somehting like that.
Go watch the BTS... if they wanted to do something realistic, they could do it like they did in most of the other cinematics, this is a 3D animation that was detailed perfectly to look like a human painting 2D animation

Her father ended up dying while trying to get her out of the flames. Annie didn’t hate Daisy, and she loved her father very, very much. And the stepmom - well, she indeed did kill her. But she shouldn’t have messed around with that bear that *clearly* had something freaky going on...

Annie's lore is actually quite deep.
Annies mom is one of the child soldier being trained by leblanc to be possessed by tibbers(a demon). Annies mom ran away and met his husband. Annies mom felt that the black rose(leblanc) is closing in on her so she ran away and gave tibbers(demon) to protect her. Her dad remarried and from this video they died.
Annie is now alone and was found by the black rose and became a student not knowing thay one of their demons(tibbers) is with her. She met other students and she burned the whole place down and has a better grasp on her powers.

So, Daisy died and later manifested in becoming Ivern's ultimate. interesting... that's why annie ult and ivern's ult are so similiar. THEY ARE CONNECTED!

Going through horrible depression now, and an equally horrible childhood, this just rips my heart to shreds. "Why Annie?" She never meant to do anything wrong. She cannot control her feelings.
