Today's video is on my first sip and paint. I wasn't sure how it would turn out but it turned out beautiful. My event was hosted by "A Stroke of Genius." This is soooo awesome! I'm a nurse as well, and I've been trying to find something to do to help me relax on the days that I'm off. Considering I work so much, I don't spend much time with my friends and/or family, and I would like to do something like this to bring us all together. Plus, it'll help us all wind down & relax. What info can you give me about the canvases? Would I need to order some blank canvases & get an artist to draw on them or can I order them predrawn?

I wish I lived closer to you so that I could attend your next party😫 The pandemic is extremely stressful. I'm taking on extremely long shifts somedays. I would work from 5am-10pm. The area in which I live has a total of 8 cases and counting. We're having to reuse the same PPE. Not to mention the fact that we're short staffed. It was stressful before the pandemic, but the pandemic is definitely adding more stress. Painting is one of those things that helps me to really relax. I was looking up some things about canvases, and I just so happened to find your video. I'm so glad that I did. Just watching it was relaxing by itself❤ Please be careful and take care of yourself and your family during this time. And thank you my sister for your service❤
@@r.n.1905 Thank you for your service :) Hang in there...it is tough but this is what we were born to do, so we got this :) I wish you lived closer too because I would definitely invite you. I dont have many followers on here but with the little amount of followers I do have, I have made some good nurse friends and I love it. RUclips is the place for networking if you're interested in doing that. I currently work in assisted living as the only nurse who oversees 4 buildings so it has been tough but we're making it. Right now we are quarantined - it just seems like a nightmare and I'm ready to wake up from it. But keep in touch :)

I work part time on a MedSurge floor at my local hospital, and I work full time as a dialysis nurse, and I have patients who have tested positive in both areas. I wanted to work in a hospital so bad but got scared to death my first week, so I quit. I've only ever worked in long term care and assisted living for the last 20 years so I dont know anything else.
