  • In Luv Subbin Episode 230, we officially start our trip west by traveling to St. Louis, Missouri. We tour the Gateway Arch National Monument and give you some tips on parking larger vehicles. We then head off to visit The Hill - a Little Italy neighborhood where we taste the local St Louis dish of fried ravioli. Cindy then makes her own version in the air fryer and I review Babler Memorial State Park.

      Thanks for watching! Bummer that we missed that. We keep a running list of things that we need to hit and will add Ted Drewes Custard to that.

      Thanks Tina! We're a little behind on comments but hope that you guys had a great 4th as well. We froze our butts off at a dirt track race in Wyoming...

    Loved this episode a lot! Y’all hit a favorite of mine with the arch and The Hill with the basket wine! Safe travels

      Thanks Cotton Tales! This was one of our favorite videos we've recently done as it showcases what we try and do with our videos - visit something interesting, give tips, find a fun place for lunch, and then Cindy tries to replicate.

      @@LuvSubbin I believe y’all hit the mark a lot with the videos y’all create. Your content is right up my alley! It is going to be super hot down south the next couple of weeks, so hopefully the weather up north is fantastic! Safe travels

      Thanks for watching! I believe the consumption of large quantities of adult beverages usually precludes the "fights"...

    Saw your ravioli piece. We LOVED the porcini ravioli we bought at the Italian Market of Manchester when we were at the rally last fall.

    We just found your channel and live in St Louis. We live near Babbler State Park. We are waiting to get our first Airstream in August and can’t wait to get on the road. Love your videos.

      Thanks for watching! We had a great time in St. Louis. Babler State Park would be a great place to take out that new Airstream in August. Back-ins are super easy.

      Thanks for watching! We were able to watch the movies at the Visitor Center. The most amazing part was having to spread the two arches to place the center peice in. We loved our time in St. louis.

    Happy Fourth of July!, Welcome to my backyard, I'm guessing that you are further down the road when this video was aired. I would have stop by to meet you if I had know you were going to be in town. Route 66 Ted Drews is a place to stop and enjoy custard.

    Interesting that the campground had 50-amp service but no 30-amp connections ...

    • @LuvSubbin
      @LuvSubbin  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! We're finding that more often so a dog bone connector is definitely mandatory. In fact, at the Airstream Rally in Wyoming this year all 1,200 sites were 50 amp only.

    Parking at a commuter train station and riding the train into the city is a good option too. Parking is free at Metro stations and the dat pass fare is about $5. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of your Route 66 journey! 🛻💨

      Thanks for watching! Actually, our reservation in Texas got cancelled due to flooding. We'll hit California someday but for this trip Utah is as far west as we will get.

    Please! Please ! Don’t be that channel who talks about up and down load speeds!!

    • @LuvSubbin
      @LuvSubbin  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching and fear not - I will not include speeds forever. When we first got Starlink many viewers wanted to know how it worked so we figured we would include a few weeks of example speeds.
