I ordered the same chord and everything and it still wont work wtf. It tried to open and closes my pc is brand new this is lame. Bout to just send the amp back

@@castrolarryh that Andy Laroque tone is on the Line6 tone cloud. That's where I downloaded it from. Only other option is for me to view all the settings and send it to you.
Jason thank you for the video, I have the spider V 20 I don’t have the iPhone/ Mac USB the spider remote app doesn’t seem to recognize the signal with an adapter for the micro SD input. In your experience, is this particular amp not compatible with iOS? thank you for taking the time to respond.
w this unit, there's a switch for either iphone or Android. not sure if all the v models have it set up like that. try reading the user manual. good luck
I have a super novice question, and I’m sorry for sounding a bit uneducated for it. But I bought this head today alongside a Crate 4x12. Do I need to plug both cables into the back of the head and into the back of the cab? Or should I plug only one in? I’ve played for the last 18 years, but I’ve never been able to afford a bigger setup like this until recently.
Nate, I don't own this amplifier anymore, so I would recommend following ohm matching from amplifier to cabinet if possible. This head is a stereo head and is meant to be matched with the line 6 cabinet. However, any head can usually be paired with any cabinet. 1 8 ohm out to 8 ohms in on the cabinet ect.

Chemmii I am sorry but that exact cable is not on my Amazon purchase list anymore. However, if just make sure that you buy one that has the ends I showed in the video you should be fine.

Not even Yamaha can help us We live in Thailand so Yamaha here said they Would call us back they did not. Yamaha Germany said due to covid and lunch break they could not help The music shop in Bangkok arms music are as much use a a chocolate teapot.( They said go to a computer shop ) The truth is Yamaha is only interested in getting your money , once they have it it's fuck you. We are going to try again this week failing that We shall throw it out of the window.
@Michael that's strange. It could be any number of things. The amp itself, the USB cable if it isn't new, the phone or the line 6 app. The app or device is sometimes the problem. And Line 6 doesn't have much support. You may want to trying searching one of their forums.
It will work on PC and IPad better. The spider remote app for Android has been problematic for a long time. And it looks like Yamaha who owns line6 isn't really moving forward with fixing the issue. So I recommend IPad or PC for the best results.

It works for the computer. Just got a V 20 several weeks ago and it works just fine with connecting to my Mac.
