  • Johnny Manziel On Cleveland Browns Failures & Las Vegas Trip In Wig During Season:
“That's when the running to Vegas happened and me missing the last game of the season. That's when the wig story comes out... The same shame that I carry with me to this day about letting down Joe Thomas. A guy who’s at the end of his Hall of Fame career and is looking for somebody to come in and lead this team and then you get me.”

What an interview! Johnny was SO open and accepting what he did to his career. Pretty amazing. For real Johnny you could be a FANTASTIC mentor for young players coming into the league. Everyone forgets..these are KIDS! Sink or swim without helping all these guys is not the right way to handle your players..... seems that how most teams in the NFL work unfortunately.

@@Phillip-py7pc A pro career doesn’t tell an entire story. If there’s one thing Manziel has is a story to tell. Just think about it first off that game his freshman year when he balled out and beat Bama at home as 15 point dogs. People still talk about that game like it just happened. The. Winning the heisman as a freshman. Then he’s got all the stories about him being knowing as this party animal and how it affected his college career. Then you got the big scandal that he was allegedly signing memorabilia for money while in college. Then even without all that he was still one of the most electric players to even step on a college field. That’s all before he even gets to the pros and we know how all that went. Being a good interview isn’t about how great your pro career was. It’s about what story you have to tell and Manziel definitely has an interesting story to tell. And from most of the comments on ClubShayShay they all love this interview.

He's just stating the events of his life that led him to where he is and yes that includes being thrown into one of if not the most dysfunctional franchise in NFL history at least in this century. That is a REASON that contributed to his downfall. Not an excuse to put the blame on his parents ,Bryan Hoyer,Kevin Sumlin or anyone else.

Sometimes the dynamic between 1st and 2nd string QBs can be one of a mentor, but in some cases these guys are competing against each other for massive contracts. “10 AM in the morning” 🤡
If I can accomplish anything in my lifetime I hope to get people to stop saying this foolish, redundant phrase. Do people not know what AM/PM means? “It was 10 in the morning, in the morning” is what you just said Johnny. I guess that fancy education didn’t amount to anything 😂

I blame it on Johnny, but I also blame it on the coaches at Texas A&M for not teaching him the basics of football and showing him how to be a man! That is literally the main job of a coach! His parents trusted that coach to take care of his son, and teach him how to be a man, and he failed by allowing him to just do whatever he wanted just because of his God-given talent!

The Browns got coach of the year and best comeback player with Joe Flacco. They're knocking on the Super Bowl door. There is always time for a comeback in football.
