Just got mine yesterday - what I don't hear mentioned on most of these reviews is how amazing this guitar feels. Smooth, contoured sweeps everywhere, not an edge in sight. The neck/body joint is downright sexy, but the whole instrument just flows from tuners to end pin. Closest I could come would be my Parker Fly, there's the same esthetic at work. For the current $349 this is kind of an embarrassingly good axe.

Several people have reported a major feedback issue with the built in speaker, can you comment on it?
"Since it utilizes a standard shaped body to reverberate the speaker it has a major feedback problem. Anything above 25% volume and the thing goes crazy if you don't mute the strings constantly."

2.7 kg is a bit a lot of weight for fully carbon fiber guitar. Wooden Yamaha RGX A2 weighted 2.5 kg.. or Ibanez sew 761. Not sure if anyone would really need speaker in guitar.
If it would be cheaper, you could replace all electronics and pickup and that would be great.

Genuinely friendly suggestion. Always consider the color of the item you demo when picking clothing color and background color. A black guitar against black pants, a dark blue shirt, and a black couch really don't show the guitar if it's black. White or light blue pants and shirt would have rocked. Now about that couch...
BTW, I really like your video. If I hadn't I wouldn't have bothered to make the constructive comment.

Are the pickups actually any good? If they are this would appeal to a lot more than just beginners! A practice rig, an interface-less recording guitar to take with you on the road with your laptop.... That can double as a super durable/weather resistant, gigging guitar of you plug into a quality amp sim device... If the pickups are good and the electronics are solid.... It could actually be a great, gear light professional travel guitar. (I'm not talking about the built-in effects obviously)

For $400, it should have 2 speakers and a internal stereo 20watt or more mini amp. I bought a used ALESIS X GUITAR that has 100s of built in effects configutarions and I bought 2 -30 watt 4 inch speakers a nd a 30 watt stereo mini amp and installed those in the alesis x guitar. Total cost was around $190 and a few days of work- modifying . It blows this $400 guitar away and my alesis guitar has dozens of storage presets so Im can quickly toggle between guitar sounds/tones when playing different styled-genres songs.

The only thing that's new is the app, really. And I can tell you that I really caught a lot of crap from my guitar peers about it. "Oh look man, your guitar needs a 9-volt battery...how lame!"

Nice idea, I had a practice guitar decades ago with a built in speaker, tones were limited to those on the guitar. This however takes a leap with the App. When you are linked to the App and change settings do those settings SAVE TO THE GUITAR when unplugged from the App ? i.e when you for example change the reverb setting on the App does that become the 'reverb' setting on the guitar when you use the button on the guitar unplugged ? or are the settings on the guitar FIXED ? Nice demo, has defenately go me interested.
