most of Europe just rides off Americas back, i mean that state of the British military is a laughable. they don't even have enough planes to fill both super carries they wasted ton of money on. They have to allocate planes between the branches depending on who needs what. they have an army of 75,000 soldiers and could only hold the front line against Russia for 2 months max. Yet they just hand out money to people freely. Anyone on that dole should be forced to work for the military in some capacity. Thank god Poland is on their A game. I think this piece could have done more to address one of the biggest problems with Yemen as a nation-state. The production of _Khat_ is the main staple crop for export in this economy, and thus the political classification as a narco-state may be appropriate. As such, chaotic narco-state dynamics make much more clear why political instability and civil war are rampant, once Saleh lost both external and internal support as the head of governance, albeit in addition to regional power struggles and long-standing religious schisms as covered. Probably the main difficulty with this socio-economic classification is that khat's legality is not consistent around the world, thus challenging the classic definition, vice narco-states that produce coca or poppy plants as export crops.

Seems your video is way out of date. The Navy flies SH-60S now and SH-60R which you did mention. The other variants are obsolete now. The SH-60S is way more capable now because I was in a squadron in San Diego so I know. Just saying you might want to do a little research before posting videos

One mistake. The Houthis are attacking all shipping, not Israel related shipping. They are currently holding 40 Filipinos hostage.
I mean how hard would it be to put a helicopter landing pad on top of the containers, on those ships and have it strapped down, so the helicopters could sit there through the channel

The US has the capability, technology, personnel & disposition (for the most part) to do the job, not everyone can say the same. But the workload should be shared with various allies - even if the US can do it all they really shouldn't because it's not sustainable.
