Does the leaning function add resistance to the turning process?

Thanks for your comment. No the leaning function doesn't add resistance to the turning process.. to me it feels like a normal two wheeled bicycle when I turn. You can't lean it as far as a normal bike though, so sometimes you have to slow down a little bit when going around a tight turn; I do tend to race in it though, unlike my wife.

you could put a small petrol generator ( to an inverter) in the back of the velomobile ,powering a charger to the battery to get more mileage. still classed as a electric bike.

Hi Peter, you might be right, I have looked at the law in New Zealand, and I am not allowed a petrol motor, but a generator may be allowed. Once I have the velomobile back from the shop, I will do some testing and see what kind of range I get out of the battery. Thanks heaps for your comment.

    Narration is better than text.

Thanks for that, I try to get a bit of both.

I watch a lot of videos while I work. I can't get much work done if I have to read text. Narration is no harder to do, and it's easier for all viewers except the deaf. I just subscribed to your channel to watch you in the velomobile. I think most folks enjoy watching velomobiles pass road bikes, so you may keep that in mind. It doesn't count though if you use your electric assist.
